I just recently purchased an Xbox One X and I wanted to get a good pair of headphones that didn't break the bank. I saw these are PC headphones but people were saying they worked on the Xbox one. So I took a risk and bought them. After putting in the codes for the Dolby Atmos and listening to some of the apps with Dolby Atmos I am well pleased with this product! They are super comfortable and the sound is absolutely amazing! For $50 it is a total steal! I highly recommend this pair of headphones! I normally buy Turtle Beach headsets and those are some pretty quality headsets but this one is the best I've ever had! Good job playtronics!

This headset is exactly what I needed for my gaming. It's got quality audio, the Atmos is brilliant in games that support it, I find it to be comfortable and *mostly* durable. I say mostly because recently it has just fallen apart in the most frustrating way -- the volume slider has fallen off. The mechanism is still active, but un-reachable without the aid of some small tool. I realize this is not a major deficiency, but it has me miffed. As an adult gamer who takes good care of his investments, I'm really bummed about this. The headset is by no means unusable in its current state, all it needs is the slider piece to clip back into place. I would love to reattach the wayward plastic if I could find it. It's so tiny and I didn't notice it was gone until the next morning which means it has likely been claimed by cats. If anyone has experienced this issue and has a suitable solution, I'm very happy to hear you out.

The fist thing I noticed about this Gaming Headset was that it was feather light, but neither looked nor felt cheap. The headband is molded out of strong, flexible and light plastic, with an high-tech design. The ear cups are adjustable to three heights. For the price, the speakers sound pristine on the highs and rock bottom on the low frequencies. The ear-pads are made out of cloth covered, soft and airy foam. They let a fair degree of sound in, which I like, so I can hear my roommate talking or the phone ringing while playing, and I like this. The head-strap fits snugly, giving these headsets a solid feel. The mic-boom is removable. I would have liked a mic that tucked away instead; only because I feel I might lose track of the mic. Over-all, the fit and finish of this product, is pure quality. My only other negative comment I have is that oval ear-cups would have fit my big ears better.

I purchased the Plantronics RIG 400 because I did need a new Gaming Headset, but mostly for the included Dolby Atmos access code, which came bundled with it. I immediately fell in love with Dolby Atmos, when I sampled Dolby Access for the Xbox One. The layers of sound was truly impressive and I just had to subscribe to the service.

I was shipped something different than what was advertised. This was supposed to have an Atmos code and they were supposed to be black. It's advertised as a model 400 3D headset and the model I received was 400HX. I purchased these because of the included ATMOS subscription which WAS NOT INCLUDED.

After doing some research on gaming headsets in the $50-$75 price range, I ended up settling on this headset. The headset is comfortable even after an hour or so of wearing them. Before getting these i was using a good set of earbuds and honestly they sounded better and clearer. The gunshots were crisp and the thump of feet on wooden floors loud. The sound quality is fine, but the volume level is horrible. I tried them with music and was sadly disappointed. They will do for now at least till i have the cash to by something a little better. Not sure about the whole dolby atmos thing, dont see much in terms of using the app to tweak the settings.
