Patience pays off

I've got a 320SQ ft area behind my fenced lawn. That area has brush, shrubs, weeds, vines -- you name it & it's there. I did some research and found this gem & saw some sample YouTube videos of people spraying it on overbrush. After I saw the results, I was sold.
I poured in the prescribed amount into a 1Gal handpump sprayer and went to work...for about 20 minutes and realized it would take me forever. So, I bought a Ortho bottle/hose attachment & kept spraying/refilling until the area was saturated.
After 36 hours -- no noticeable change
After 7 days -- slight discoloration
After 14 days -- death & destruction had rained down on all of the vegetation.

This stuff works.

Kills it all... DON'T expect results in a few hrs. Give it time to work, it'll work wonders!! I noticed the weeds starting to wilt after a couple days and after a week they were extra crispy.

Why pay $55 + for a lawn company company to come spray when you can buy a gallon of this stuff and mix it yourself?? Save $$$ DIY. I used 8 oz for 1.5 gallons of mix. It worked wonders. My park strip had grass towards the far end now its dead same with the gravel parking and flower bed.

Exactly what we wanted. I will buy it again whenever I happen to run out.

I bought a gallon of RM 43 to try it out on several lots we own. Despite its higher cost it did not work any better than the lower price 41% versions such as Round Up and generic brands. I applied it at twice the recommended rate for a quick kill and hopefully long lasting. The kill was no quicker and we already have weeds and plants coming back in after only 30 days. Actually did better with the Compare n Save sold on Amazon at a much lower price. I mixed the product, made sure it was well mixed and supervised the spraying. It just doesn't work any better than the 41% products. Like so many others I depend on the reviews and this did not work on weeds that had just been cut to less than 6".

This stuff is incredible. I have about a half acre that is covered in kudzu which if you have ever dealt with it, it is hard to kill off. I know the product says takes 2 weeks to show it is working, we have dead kudzu after only a week. We did make the mix a little strong 10oz of killer to gallon of water just because we know How hard it is to kill this vine but it most definitely diff the job. You can see in the pictures exactly what was sprayed and where we stopped.

Takes a long time

It takes a long time to work. If it wasn't for other reviews, I would have thought it wasn't working. I used it to kill all the weeds and grass in my backyard (which was mainly weeds). I used it in a hose sprayer mixing at 4oz per gallon. That is one issue I have with this product, it is not clear how to mix it.
The results were:
1 day: No change
2 days: No change
3 days: Slight browning of some weeds, taller weeds were starting to wilt
4 days: Still just slight browning, weeds in cracks around patio clearly dying
5 days: A little more browning in weeds in the yard, not much effect on the grass, weeds around patio dead
6 days: Everything is browning and dying
7 days: Not much green to see
8 days: Complete death less a few spots that mixed some more into a 1 gallon sprayer and sprayed again.
14 days: No plant of any type is living
21 days: No plant of any type is living
28 days: No plant of any type is living
2 months: Starting to get just a few spots of grass coming up, no weeds, will be respraying the whole yard

I'm not too concerned about the few spots of grass. Since I used a hose sprayer and that isn't really in the directions, I might have not gotten as good of coverage in a few areas. Bottom line is, it works. It just requires more patience than some other products I've used in the past.

I decided to buy this product after reading many great reviews, so I was optimistic.

I purchased the 1 gallon size bottle. When the product arrived half of the contents of the bottle head leaked out and were lost. I guess next time I will go to a local hardware store to purchase this. “Convenience” of shipping to my house isn’t worth losing $25 of the product.

I will vouch for how well the product works to kill any and all weeds. With what product remained in the bottle, I was able to kill a section of the area I intended to use it on. It isn’t instant results, but after a few days to a week the plants are all shuttering and dying.

Well that’s the same amount of disappoint you’ll get when you waste your money on this “year round” weed killer. Applied to weeds over a month ago, with not a drop of rain or moisture in the air or in the immediate area, mixed perfectly according to the instructions, and guess what? I still have weeds. Not even the slightest sign of wilting. Went ahead and put a second application and still nothing at all.
