This product has become a staple of my facial skin care regimen. It is light and delicately fragrant, and leaves my mature skin in beautiful, supple condition. I use only three drops at a time, with water-moistened hands and face, to achieve thorough coverage. It is at least as good as claimed, and well worth the rather high price because it lasts so long. I bought my first bottle in December 2009 and still have several months of product left after use twice daily. I truly believe this is an excellent product and will definitely purchase it again.

OK, I'm the husband. I'm putting together a large Amazon order. I yell across the room: "Honey, do you need anything?" "Yes, I need some RODIN olio lusso - Luxury Face Oil." "OK, sweetie." I look it up. It's $150+ for a teeny little bottle. Probably costs about $3.49 to manufacture. I'm about to say something but then I remember that I spend many, many times that much on my hobbies all the time. Plus she has to put up with me all the time. Plus it makes her happy. I press the Buy button. She got it and she was happy. Life is good.

Just started my second bottle of Rodin face oil. I apply about three drops to my moist face and neck each morning. It disappears in minutes, leaving my face soft and ready for make-up. My skin is very sensitive and tends to be oily, but no problems here. Just soft dewy skin. It's fabulous and worth every penny.

I am 50 years old and over the past decade or so, as my face and neck have started to really show signs of aging, I have become a bit of a skincare junkie. I have used more skincare products than I can count ranging from inexpensive drugstore versions, to some of the world's most costly 'miracle' lotions, potions, and serums. Some of them have done great things, others not so much. Honestly, my purchase of Rodin was mostly motivated by the aroma as I'm a bit obsessed with the delightful fragrance. I expected it's quality as a product to be good but approximately similar to any other good oil or moisturizer I have used in the past. This product exceeded my expectations.

My skin, even in my 20s and 30s, tends to run quite dry and dehydrated. I was also competitive swimmer a bit of a sun worshiper in my youth and my neck and chest have a significant amount of sun damage. Both are quite red and tend to look as if I have a constant blotchy sunburn and both are quite wrinkled. Honestly, my neck and chest look at least 10 years older than the rest of me. I used my Rodin olio lusso for the first time right before bed. I followed the directions someone else posted in their review and used 3 or 4 drops on my face and maybe 5 or 6 drops on my chest/neck and applied it over very damp skin. When I woke up in the morning my skin looked noticeably more "radiant, moist (not oily) and youthful." So much so my boyfriend commented on it. I have been using the product for nearly a week now and I can also say that it has *significantly* reduced the redness on my chest and neck. Is it magic? Not quite but pretty darned close. Suddenly my chest/neck don't immediately jump out as noticeably older than my face.

1) I have an acutely sensitive sense of smell. My first job was pouring small batch fine essential oils, the best from all around the world. Usual humdrum oils are synthetic and give me an instant headache between my eyes. Not this. This is the best quality you can get.

2) Initially I was extremely critical of this oil. I already loved the facial oil I had at about half the price. Was totally happy with what I was already using, I like trying new things regularly as I am upping my beauty regimen in my early 30's and had seen this featured in vogue non stop the last 6 months. I didn't realize that my old facial oil wasn't even absorbing well and was actually leaving an oil slick in the morning I wasn't even using that much. I try Rodin for the first time and my skin is glowing from within. Absorbs within minutes. Smells amazing. Which strikes me as odd for an oil none of the usual suspects being tea tree, euclyptus, lavender or even rosewood which are all really strong sometime pungent aromas. But then I realize those are all for acne prone skin, I am no longer a teen ager, I'm not breaking out.

This is indeed one of the perks of being in your 30's. You get to use Rodin!

By the way. I'm now using the hair oil on the ends and my dyed and damaged hair hasn't felt this soft and silky since it was virgin hair 14 years ago.

The Rodin Face Oil is worth it. I use so little on moist face, neck and hands and wow.Just pat it on gently and hold warm hands on your face and neck. It's rather remarkable. They gave me a sample of the hair oil also but I'm not sure I like it as well as I do the facial oil. The facial oil is clean, simple to apply and this older gal's face and neck feel great and look wonderful after application with a natual looking glow. Will reorder.

My high hopes of really liking this product were quickly dashed after only one use because of the strong scent. The reviews revealed so many liked the oil and the scent, so perhaps it's just me.
