The mild are VERY mild but in my opinion adds the perfect amount kick for the very slightly spicy type meal. It makes an excellent poor mans Quick N' Easy American Chop Suey ! 1.5 to 2 cups macaroni, 1/2 stick butter, Ro*tel mild, a 7.4 oz. carton of Hunts tomato sauce, salt & pepper. Makes enough for 1 very hungry man or a pair of old folk !

Back in the 70's we used to mix a can of Rotel with a can of Campbell's Cheese soup (non-diluted) and serve with chips. We just had chaffing dishes, but the small crock pots made for potpourri now, would be excellent for this. Some used the small loaf of Velveeta, but I like the canned soup flavor, instead.

I'm always looking for more recipes. I bought 2 cases of the Hot with Habeneros but I usually buy the Green Chilis version... But, I usually put half a can with Campbells Bean with Bacon Soup... It's always good with a full can in a lb of cooked ground beef, and 20 oz large refried beans stirred in as a dip and baked in the oven covered in cheddar cheese.. served with tortilla chips. It fills you up instantaneously! Now I'm hungry.

My local stores were COMPLETELY wiped out of ALL Rotel and I was devastated! It's a necessary ingredient in our favorite chili recipe and I was desperate to find some. This is the only type I could find with quick shipping options so I went for it. Typically I use regular Rotel and I did not notice much of a difference in the level of spice of my finished product, but I do use plenty of other spices, peppers, and seasoning to kick it up... I didn't have to alter any of my usual ingredient amounts.

It arrived in a box and was packaged well. There were no dented cans. I love the fact that these are way cheaper online than I can find in the store. Nothing was expired either. I love Ro-Tel. I use it for everything. But my favorite summer time snack is a can of Ro-Tel with a package of dry ranch dressing and diced cucumbers from the garden. It is so good and healthy. Eat it as a salsa with tortilla chips. You can't ever go wrong with Ro-Tel it is so diverse and can be used for anything. They also make a few other varieties as spices and fire roasted. But the original is my go to. We eat low carb diets and this fits our macros. It does have sugar but its not added sugar. You can add it to Queso or tonight we are using it in a spaghetti with spaghetti squash or spiraled zucchini. I'll be ordering this on subscribe and save from now on.

i love this stuff! i can use the original as salsa (i may season it up a bit!) just the right amount of chunky for salsa or sauce...fry the rotel with green chilies, touch of cilantro and whatever mexican spices & its, our opinions, it tastes like nice fresh salsa! use as a topping for any mexixan or texmex meal!! serve over beans or meats use it in chili or spanish rice and orr beans! but our favorite....use it in a delicious italian sauce...brown some sweet and or hot italian sausage, cut up (to your liking) onion, green, red, yellow and orange sweet peppers, fresh garlic, about 3 to 4 T butter italian seasonings salt and pepper to your liking, add cheese tortellini, cook till tortellini is done...serve with some romano locatelli cheese and maybe some hot toasty garlic bread, and dinner is served! quick, easy and really satisfying!! be imaginitive!
