These serving utensils feels expensive because of the material and weight. It feels heavier but not cumbersome to use. The details (holes) on some of it are pretty. They are also at the nice size to use for serving. We use it to serve a lot of different kind of food. It washed nicely in the dishwasher and doesn't get scratch easily.

I was impressed with this set of serving utensils. Good weight and polish/shine. I would have loved to be able to use them. And, if I needed them simply for a family dinner or even a larger house party, I think they would have served admirably. However, this set is advertised as being buffet worthy, which is what I needed them for. They are a bit short for a true buffet, with over 50 people going through a line serving with them from large dishes. They are roughly 9inches long (which is hard to find on their current listing). So, just wanted to give a heads up for anyone else who is looking for true buffet serving utensils. This isn’t your set. If you’re looking for family/small house party set, I would recommend moving forward with this purchase.
