Poor Zeb—he never gets any rest. In this book he is on vacation out in the wilderness when a young girl shows up in the middle of the night. She is terrified and fearful of everything—including fearful of Zeb. She just finished watching her father murdered by a terrorist. And so the story begins. The story is called “Run” for a reason. Zeb has to go on the run with Sara Ashland, the fifteen years old girl. Zeb’s main goal is to protect this child because not only are terrorists after them, but so is a mafia type gang. Once Sara watches Zeb in action protecting her, she not only quits being afraid of Zeb, she starts to trust him and feels safe with him. I won’t tell you any more about the story; you will just have to read it yourself. This book is action packed and you never know from one minute to the next if Zeb is going to survive—you sit on the edge of your seat and hold your breathe to see if he is going to make it or not.
This book has a conclusion and is a stand alone story. There was no foul language or steamy sex scenes in it. There was a reference to rape but it was not described. I love all of the Warrior series and hope that Mr. Patterson will continue to write about them for a long time. I will get everyone of them!
Do you remember how he met the twins. Well, Zeb is out in peaceful, beautiful USA. He found an area away from other campers so he will have peace. Not happening. A young 15 year old female comes running into his campsite devastated.
This story is not like the Warrior Code. Namur is a terrorist from Beirut. He wants revenge on Sara’s father. Kenton Ashland was an American reporter that was responsible for Namir’s arrest. ISIS has sent Namur to the USA to perform terrorist actions but first he wants to kill Kenton and then Sara, since she’s a witness. Zeb takes full responsibility to save her life so they RUN.
Very interesting story.
Write on, Ty.
You don’t have to read the first seven “Warriors”” books to understand this story. It’s a nail-biter that stands on its own.
