Super freak ceramic and tourmaline 2000 watt dryer (made in Italy motor). Anyone who desires curls and waves or silky, straight hair. It is ideal for hair of any length, style or texture.
RUSK is one of the premier salon brands in the world.
From the manufacturer
The RUSK Engineering Super Freak Professional 2000 Watt Dryer features an Italian motor that delivers superior airflow and air pressure. Infused with ceramic and tourmaline to reduce drying time, this hair dryer emits far-infrared heat to dry hair more quickly, eliminating static and frizz.
What is it? A professional 2000 watt dryer that is ergonomically designed and infused with ceramic and tourmaline, which emit negative ions to help enhance the vitality of the hair.
How do you use it? After shampooing and conditioning hair, towel-dry to remove excess moisture. Next, section the hair. Use the dryer with a styling brush and direct hot air through one section of hair at a time. This dryer can be used for multiple purposes. To create volume, bend head upside down while drying. Position the airflow toward the roots for maximum lift. When hair is dry, toss head back and brush hair into place. To straighten, work with hair in sections, using a large round brush, paddle brush or styling brush. Make sure to hold each section of hair taut for best straightening results. To make waves, grasp hair at roots and scrunch between fingertips while drying.

Anyway, so far, I like the Superfreak. It has great power, it heats up fast and dries faster than my Speedfreak ever did. My sister didn't recommend the Superfreak because she said it gets TOO hot, which, yes it gets hot, but it also has other settings, so you don't always need to have it on high heat. I also like the weight of this blowdryer. The Speedfreak definitely weighed more.
The only negative I have about this dryer is that it omits a "burnt hair" smell. I had to check my hair a couple times to see if my ends were being fried, but everything was fine and it dried my hair perfectly and really quickly - and I have thick hair and a lot of it! I'm hoping the smell is just a temporary new dryer motor smell that will go away after a few more uses. Overall, I'm very happy with my decision to try the Superfreak dryer and I definitely recommend it. I can't say there's any reason I'd buy the Speedfreak again because,
in my opinion, the features on this one are better. I don't think they need to include 2 concentrators though. One would suffice. Though this one is pricier than my old Speedfreak model, I believe it's worth the money -- as long as it lasts me longer than 2ish years! If it does last over 2 years, I'll come back and give my review that last star, but til then, it's a 4-star review 😆
