I bought these for my granddaughter thinking that it was a great idea that they snapped closed upon falling. They do indeed but they also close on the baby's face. The pacifier nipple is in the center and the hinged plastic case is on either side waiting to snap shut before hitting the ground. But when the pacifier is put in the baby's mouth, the plastic case closes on her mouth. It's just bad design. The idea would have been great if implemented well but it is just uncomfortably annoying to the baby and has no value whatsoever.
This didn't always close when it was dropped and it looked like it was kind of uncomfortable because it would leave imprints on my baby's face. She would use it but it didn't really do what it was supposed to do.
