Original Yashraj CD
In an age where songs and their remixes are filled with rapping, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi stays away from this. It s, unequivocally, a gem for the music lovers and the best soundtrack of 2008. It takes you to those good old days when music was simple and great and at the same time, it has the modern touch to capture universal attention. There is nothing wrong with the soundtrack, no remix, no rapping and most of the songs are of short length which is a big bonus. Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi is a kaleidoscopic soundtrack which is a must in everyone s collection. Go out and buy the CD! --thenewsdose.com
All songs are worth being chartbusters. Infact this album is a chartbuster. It is a very diverse album and thank God, all the lyrics to the songs are simple and compliment the music really well. The lyrics all have a meaning and there is no silliness in them. The music is full of soul and substance and have kept to an indian touch. I feel that this is personally one album is for the romantics and it does hold a universal appeal. In fact, it is simplicity that is the key factor in the album. If Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na had 'Pappu Can't Dance' then Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi has 'Dance Pe Chance'. This will make everyone dance on the dancefloor. Go on everyone and dance. Then we have 'Haule Haule' which gives us the feeling to shout out our love story from the rooftops. 'Tujh Mein Rab Dikhte Hain' is the song that you just want to look into the eyes of your loved one and say 'I love you!'
I cannot rate this album. It is a classic in the making, it deserves to be a classic. It is officially my favourite album of the year. The songs leave you thirsty for the picturisations of them. If the songs are brilliant, the expectations for the movie is only higher. The fact is since the lyrics have content, we can safely assume that the movie has content too.
For those that want to see what I would rate it, I will rate it for you. If you want me to be harsh just like Simon Cowell then it is a 8/10. If you want me to be me then it is a 10/10. Well done to Salim-Sulaiman, Jaideep Sahni for the lyrics, to the singers, to the producers and most of all to Aditya Chopra! Everyone go and buy this album, it is worth it! --chroniclesofacreativewriter.blogspot.com

Phir Melenge Chalte Chalte is both joyful and hopeful with an underlying feeling of the impermanence inherent in relationship and life. I find myself walking everywhere singing this in my head.
Tuhj Mein Rab Dikhta Hai is simply a wonderful love song. My only complaint is that I would have liked more, including some of the background music and varied versions of the tunes. Otherwise, while not long enough, this is a fabulous soundtrack and remains on my regularly played list.
