When sports car enthusiasts told us they wanted a simple, sleek ramp for them, we listened. Our 40 inch Sport Ramp is built just for their needs. If you want a no-fuss but still solid ramp for your sports car, this is for you. It can handle tires up to 8 inches wide and raises your car up 7 inches -- basically, it's a sweet little ramp that gives you a lot of access. These babies are ideal for most small sports cars such as stock Miatas, Subarus, Evos, BMWs, Triumph MGs, Jaguars, C1-C3 Corvettes and more. Note that our Sport Ramps won't work with C5s, C6s and Vipers -- but we've got you covered: Check out our 56 inch or 67 inch ramps. And don't forget. Our 40 inch Sport Ramps are sturdy, solid and Unscootable, hugging the ground and never slipping or sliding no matter the surface -- dirt, wet cement, garages or even ice! And if you're working in the garage or in the driveway, like all Race Ramps, our 2 piece 56 inch Race Ramps won't dig into, scratch or blemish your floors. They come complete with straps, too, for easy carrying and storage.

They're the easiest ramps I've ever driven up on. They don't move at all when driving up, or back down. A breeze to use solo. I was on concrete.
I have some Rhino Ramps, but I've never felt comfortable with the molded plastic-like material and ribbed structure underneath. I could always see portions bulging which I didn't like even though I used jackstands in conjunction with them.
These are solid, heavy-duty foam or foam-like material. Solid material all the way through. No ribbed structure supporting the load. Solid. They are very light, about 6 pounds each.
They're pretty amazing. The 7 inches of additional clearance gained is great, and you can get that in a matter of a very few minutes.
They're more expensive than most ramps I've owned, but the way I look at it is that I'll have them for the next 20 years or more, so the cost per year is incredibly low, and the amount of cash saved doing my own maintenance and repairs, not to mention the convenience, is WELL worth it.
I used the info in one of the product pics to determine the 40 inchers would work for my car.
You wedge a yardstick under the front tire (pointing straight forward), angle it up until it hits the lowest point of the bumper/structure, measure from the end of the yardstick to the ground and if it's 10.5 inches or more, they'll work. Mine measured about 13 inches.
If you can afford these, get them. I wouldn't hesitate once you know the angle works for your specific car. The quality and strength are built in.
I love this tool.
If I were to make a suggestion, it would be to put a very slight lip at the leading edge of the shelf so the tire would drop into a cradle. If someone were to thoughtlessly get out of the car leaving it in neutral, it could roll down off the ramps.
They are also very easy to clean, which was my biggest complaint of my old set of Ramps, once fluid seeped down into the creases it was nearly impossible to clean it up - not with this set. I have the feeling these will last for a very long time and probably will be borrowed from friends to do work on their own cars, in their own garages.
Thanks Brute for making an awesome product, it would be great to have another pair (of identical design) with a higher load capacity.
