Measured size = 4"H x 5"W x 8"L
Measured weight = 6.7 lbs.
Material = very thick, stiff black rubber with a hollow space on the bottom.
I performed three crude tests on each candidate. The test surface was a dirt parking area with 7/16" gravel that's been pushed down into the dirt. Here are the tests:
(1) Place a chock under each rear tire, put car in drive, release brake.
(2) Place a chock under each rear tire, back up 2 feet, put car in drive, release brake.
(3) Place a chock under each rear tire, put car in drive, accelerate gently until the truck ran over the chocks, inspect chocks for damage.
These chocks in test 1 held the truck firmly in place, in test 2 stopped the forward motion of the truck, and in test 3 required a goodly amount of power to run over -- after which the chocks were dirty but unharmed.
I now carry a pair in my truck.
I also have a pair of metal wheel chocks that are made in the USA and while I still use those, these have become my favorite, the metal ones have shown their age with rust around the chocks.
The only negative that I can post about is the cost. Ideally, it should be much less than what Race Ramps charges for the chocks.

These are NOT specialized soft rubber chocks. They are hard as a rock. I actually thought they were plastic at first. I dropped them on the garage floor, and they sounded like plastic. Only thing that lets you know they're rubber is the smell.
They are NOT heavy duty. When comparing the ones I received to the ones photographed by another reviewer, mine are half as thick.
If I don't return them I need to drill some holes, insert eye bolts, and connect them together with some chain.
Wheel chocks - I bought 4 sets of these rubber chocks in the last two years (as well as custom ramps - 2 piece) and wanted to buy an additional set of 4 chocks, but when they arrived they are plastic now! The race ramp part number is the same but are now made cheep! They now slide accross my floor. The new bottoms saw tooh do not prevent this.
I called Race Ramps (brute technologies) about getting the "plastic chocks" and same part number and they said ARE rubber (recycled tries) but I can tell you they are plastic not rubber! After a long talk they agreed and said they do not make rubber any more! Returning these cheep one now!
It doesn't really show in the photo, but they are hollow - the rubber is maybe 3/4" or so thick, which allowed me to drill a hole and attach an eye-bolt and chain them together in sets of two, which makes them a lot more convenient to carry around when you are chocking and un-chocking your RV. I think the price is a bit high, but not outrageous, and they certainly do the job.
Out of curiosity, I decided to test them a bit the first time I used them. I have an 13 year old (but still reliable) Civic and put it up on the ramps. With the wheel chocked, I put it in reverse and let my foot of the brake. I didn't move a millimeter. I hit the gas a bit. Nothing. Hit the gas some more, and I finally felt the car inch back a little bit. I think I would have had to near floor it to have a chance of overcoming these chocks.
These are more expensive than the plastic chocks they sell at Advance or even on Amazon, but I think they are worth it. There is no way a plastic chock can perform like these, and when it is your head under the car, an extra few bucks is worth it.
