+Holds a good amount of oil so that you don't have to refill it often
+Handle is large. My husband can fit 4 fingers in the hole in the bottle to get a firm grip.
+Well balanced. When you pour the oil or pick up the bottle it does not torque in your hand. You can effectively use this bottle with 1 finger if you wanted to
+The spout is designed well so that oil flows freely and air can enter the bottle easily as it is pouring to keep the oil flowing.
+Stylish and looks good in both a modern kitchen and a more contemporary kitchen.
-This thing is a pain to fill. You need a funnel or very steady hands or you'll spill your oil. The neck is pretty small so you can only use a small funnel (it comes with one), but because olive oil is thick you have to pour very slowly and it takes a long time to fill the bottle. In addition to having a very small opening to fill the oil through, you can't really fill it with the bottle standing upright because of the curve in the neck. You end up having to hold it in one hand at a bit of an angle and pouring oil into it with the other hand. This is difficult if you use large containers of olive oil (5Qt cans or 2Qt bottles from Costco) where you might need both hands to handle just the bottle/can of oil.
I have two different oil bottles (one for olive oil, one for peanut oil): this one, and a tall, square ceramic bottle that has an identical spout/plug thing. The main difference is the shape (the other is also larger and a bit heavier).
Having a comparison makes clear that this really is a superior oil bottle. The other one gets a vacuum lock and I have to keep tilting the bottle up and down to keep the oil flowing. Whereas this one dispenses the oil at a proper, controlled rate, but never locks up. I can drizzle just enough oil onto a salad, or pour a whole lot of oil into a pan for sauteéing chicken cutlets, all very easily.
The handle and curved neck make it very comfortable to use, even with my carpal tunnel issues. It's very well balanced. I never feel like I'm straining to lift and tilt it (as I sometimes do with my other oil bottle).
I have average size hands for a human (on the large side for a woman). I think this handle would be no problem for most people. It might be a little small for folks with very large hands, but it's balanced well so would probably be just fine to grip with two or three fingers in the loop instead of all four.
Filling it takes more care than I gave. You have to guess when enough is enough. I spilled over. Maybe that's why America entered the era of bad will? It's my fault for spilling?
