This is the worst peeler I have ever used. Other RR products a good, this one needs to be avoided. It feels cheap when peeling, making fast peeling impossible. The peeling is skimpy and the peels get caught in the blade. My old 5 yr old XOX peeler works way better. The brush on the other side is way too stiff for to be a multi-purpose use (mushrooms) as I hoped. It's ok on potatoes, but too narrow to be very helpful.

I got this for my sister as part of her kitchen Christmas gift. She loves using this and was ridiculously excited when she opened it.

She used it first on potatoes and it peeled really well. The handle is comfortable and easy to grip which is especially helpful when you're really on a veggie peeling roll. For the carrots she decided just to scrub them with the little scrubbie side instead of peeling it. She loved that it includes a scrub

We tried to hang this you on a hook but the hookwas a bit small so we kjust attatched a bit of string through the hole on the Peeler and hung it that way and it worked out just fine.

It seems great quality, I'm not worried about the blade falling off or becoming incredibly loose and the plastic is definitely not the cheap kind that cracks when you run it through the wash.

Great kitchen utensil. Something you don't realize you need until you need it and you have to struggle with a sharp knife. Great safe alternative

After reading so many mixed reviews, I had reservations about this, but decided to take a chance. It is by far the nicest peeler to come in this house, and that includes a very good RADA model. It is not as big as implied, feels nice in the hand, is sharp, and the brush is a plus. It is also comfortable for my full-grown grandson to use with ease.

I grew up using the (you will cut yourself) swivel peeler. This is oh so much better! It swivels slightly & the tip for removing potato eyes is plastic, so you won't cut yourself if trying to use it to peel jicama. I know most people would use a paring knife for that, but I have poor knife skills. On hard things like jicama, I can hold the tip for leverage. Awesome peeler!

The peeler is terrible it took me about 30min to peel one potato, because it's really hard to do with this peeler. The brush is awesome, but that's the only thing that does work correctly. Considering I was largely buying it for the brush; I'm not that disappointed, but if you are getting this thinking you are going to get a great vegetable peeler......think again; this tool is terrible, and doesn't work at all for peeling anything. I love the color; the quality of the brush is nice, and the bristles on the brush is awesome, but beware the brush is all you will be getting that works. I like the price, and think it's decent, but so glad; I wasn't getting this for the peeler. I have a peeler, and needed a brush just felt like this would be a bonus. Rating the brush alone I would give it a 5, but the tool that's being advertised I can only give it 3 star due to the construction being flawed, and the fact that the only thing works like it should is the brush.

What I love about this peeler/brush is that the larger handle is wonderfully easy to handle. I've recently been suffering with severe carpel tunnel & arthritis in my right hand and it has been hard to find kitchen tools whose handles manuver easily and that won't cause pain with extended use. This peeler works very well in that regard. It doesn't take much pressure at all to peel potatoes, apples or carrots. This peels potatoes really nicely the blade is very sharp & moves smoothly and you can peel potatoes/apples without losing half of them with the peeling.

The brush is large, has nice stiff bristles and cleans even the dirtiest of veggies very nicely.

The only thing I didn't like on this peeler is the potato eye remover tip. The tip is large and plastic so if you are peeling a smaller potato with smaller eyes you really can't remove the complete eye. I still have to use a small paring knife to get the eyes completely out of potatoes. I wish this had a sharper metal tip so you wouldn't have to have another utensil to finish up your peeling.

Overall, I'd rate this a 4.5. I would recommend this to people who have problems handling the smaller handled peelers. The only drawback is the tip for removing the eyes, but I'd definitely purchase this again.

This is a pretty good vegetable peeler. It peels well. The fact that the handle extends along the blade means that the peelings are more likely get caught by the peeler than one where the blade extends from the handle.

The brush is good. It's a bit on the stiff side, which is good for harder vegetable. I like it.

After the death of my husband last October, I found my self needing to move and downsize. I bought a set of Rachael Ray Pots and Pans and several utensils, etc.....I realized I needed a vegetable peeler because I couldn't locate our old one. I ordered this one because it matched everything else I had purchased for my new kitchen.

Recently I had my first chance to use this vegetable peeler, with disastrous results. In a word i can only describe it as terrible. It would not peel the potatoes I was trying to peel. I have never had such a negative experience with a kitchen utensil. Later I found out that my daughter had purchased this peeler last year and had the same problem.

Don't waste your money on this peeler! I am very rarely forced to give an item a very low rating but there is nothing positive about my experience with this peeler. I was going to throw it out, but I figure I can use the brush part when cleaning vegetables, so I guess it deserves a one star rating!
