Sharp beyond safety, multiple finger and thumb slicing! Still, I love the way they smoothly slice even a cherry tomato. They ARE smaller than any other steak knife I've owned. My 'bad' for not reading the description more carefully. These are much better than the Henkles Micro Serrated steak knives purchased (and not returned) before these.
After a few weeks of using them, these knives have made it into the kitchen block. The Henkels will be a re-gift at the next wedding or house warming.
Sometimes ordering on Amazon is not the best way to purchase things.
