This product arrived within days of its ordering via free shipping...yay! I popped in the accompanying CD, clicked on the link to update drivers, and downloaded the latest from the Radeon website. I swapped out the pre-installed short-form bracket for the standard size one provided in the box and the installation then took about five minutes. I am happy to report that I have achieved my main objective--increasing my screen resolution to the native 1920x1080 of a new 21.5" LCD monitor--and a bonus is that the DVI image quality seems a bit improved over the prior VGA signal.

After trying several cards; I was fortunate enough to bought this card. This card is very good if you want to drive dual widescreen monitors under vista. It easily scales 1680X1050 on both the monitors. The best part is it uses regular PCI slot and hence it can be installed on any PC that is upto 5 years old.

You just need DVD-I cable to connect to monitors. Don't use the regular VGA cable, VGA cable through DVI-D convertor doesn't produce sharp picture. The issue is with the monitors; not the video card.

The product was delivered on time, but was non-functional out of the box.
What was worst, was that it was around the holidays, and I was unable to get to it right away.
By the time I went to install it, and found that it did not work; I was unable to exchange it.
Would have accepted a lesser product of the same design, that worked.

Bought in a rush at China-mart, to help a Chinamart-E-machines used for biz documents only - to run a better display? It probably does work for adding multiple monitors on "some" systems, but as we found out, and as reported throughout the review sites, if you need a "primary" card, this is a big waste of money. I didn't think the reviews could be telling the truth when they reported it actually slowed some machines down, but that's exactly what it did to ours. For the money, it's crazy not to get - anything else. . . If you have a PCI-E (express) slot, you can get a card for half the money with 2-4 times the memory and a better chip right here on Amazon~~~

It was what I needed. I wanted dual monitors configuration for my mother and was able to figure it out. The computer is a dell E310.

Ken provided the driver and I used that to install it on Windows 8. It should work flawlessly for Windows XP and Vista when the driver is installed simply by double clicking it. I upgraded the computer to windows 8 and installing it was a bit more involved. Doubling clicking it will not install it properly. You must go to device manager, right click on the device, and go to the extracted files of the driver and let windows install it from there. It should then work with no problem.

Once installed, you can have the option for dual monitors, expanded desktop style with the cables that came with it.

I have now gone through three of these cards, all have had fan issues. The graphics of the card itself work very nicely. Unfortunately the cooling fans attached to the card are crap. The first card I purchased the fan failed within three months. The company VisionTek replaced the card under warranty but it was a remanufactured card. The second card worked for just over a year, and after any warranty expired, the fan also failed. I took one more chance and bought a new card from Amazon because this cards fits so nicely in my older Dell Dimensions 4700C. Within three weeks of use the fan is starting to fail on the new card. I unfortunately threw away the original box and now warranty is an issue.

My advice is do not buy this card. My additional advice is if you do, keep the box to insure you can get a warranty replacement.

I upgraded my Dell Dimension 1100 computer from XP to Windows7. I use it for checking e-mails and internet work for my home business so I didn't need to spend the money on a new computer. Windows 7 required a minimum 256mb video card and I had a hard time finding one. I check with Dell for the right card however their price $125. This card was less expensive and it performs very well for what I need it to do. I would recommend it highly.
