Now as far as fitting 4 people in the spa.: NO.
2 average sized adults at best. I actually wanted a tub for myself and this is perfect with plenty of room to stretch out.
Also if you have a well as a water source you definitely need a pre-fill cartridge unless you have low mineral content.
The water I have is very high in iron and the first time I filled it without a filter attached to the garden hose the water went brown and I drained and then bought the pre filter and the water is crystal clear.
The water churns and bubbles remarkably well. The system stops in 30 minutes and the water will reach 107 if you so choose. I looked months for a tub like this and it is very sturdy. No air loss to speak of
I also purchased the inflatable Homax round cover and under inflated it so it fits inside the cover sent. This allows me to slide the cover on easily by myself. I also will mention I wanted a tub with an exterior pump system as it seems more practical to fix or replace than the internal/hidden units. The filter systems works well and I will do water changes to keep the system from becoming bogged down. A dehumidifier is an absolute must if set up is indoors. This in my opinion is best for indoors, 3 season area or basement. Outdoors in warm climates would be fine too. As it is inflatable I would think the heat loss would be very apparent in a winter climate outdoors.
Pleased thus far with this purchase.
4 stars given as performance needs to be gauged over time.
Do not expect to jump in right after filling the tub up unless you are looking for a cold water experience. It took around 16 hours to warm the water to operating temp as advertised. We setup during February in Texas so milage may vary depending on your location. All in all a very solid 4 plus stars.
Add on after using for 3 weeks: The pump got the water to 107F temp. It being February it took almost all day to do it, which is understandable (the system is outside), even for Central Texas. Go ahead and buy an extra set of filters right off the bat and a cheap ph kit with bromide salts for the little floater (walmart).
We have had several days in a row of sub-freezing temperatures and so I brought the pump inside and drained the tub. The fact it runs at 1200 watts leaving it on all day long is like leaving a high end hair dryer on all day long. You will notice it on the electric bill.
