What a fascinating -- and infuriating -- book! McCaffrey traces the course of Environmentalism through the philosophers, constitutionalists, jurists, novelists, poets, politicians, pragmatists, activists, and everyone else who contributed to the big "Green" hulk run amok that is today's "climate change" racket. It's a must read for anyone concerned about the our future.
It also provides the abundant scientific evidence of the weaknesses of Environmentalism.
It is unique in showing that Individual Rights are its main target. These rights provide the only proper ideology to shatter Environmentalism's pretense for a moral stance, and the book weaves the story of the ideological fight and its meaning to all people.
I recommend the book to anyone who feels camraderie to Environmentalism. It is a misplaced feeling, as the book shows.
