I'm tempted to return it but there is no way I can get it apart. Getting it together was so difficult, the hubcaps wouldn't fit in so we had to try to hold them up with one hand while we whacked the top of it with a hammer. Not a very safe way to put something together and we're lucky we didn't smash our fingers in the process. One of the hubcaps is stuck crooked but we couldn't fix it.
End result: I'm very unimpressed. I wanted a metal one but I'm wishing I had gotten the plastic one at the local store because at least it'd be the appropriate size.
THAT said... it's neat... BUT Don't expect a large payload.
Have bought many many Radio Flyer stuff over the years... this one... yep the bucket's solid steel but the parts that hold the axles much less so. Not complaining, just an observation. RF, please at least add some strength to the legs, that'd make it a better machine fo' sho'... just a crease or two to stiffen the metal would go a long way.
She loves it, but unlike the RF of days past I don't think it'll last 20+ years.
Not that it would need to, but it could.
1. You really need to force the screws into the bolts. Like REALLY need to force it.
2. Getting the second red pieces onto the wagon are the hardest part. You need patience.
3. It will take 2 people.
