About the author

Kim Headlee lives on a farm in southwestern Virginia with her family, cats, goats, Great Pyrenees goat guards, and assorted wildlife. People and creatures come and go, but the cave and the 250-year-old house ruins—the latter having been occupied as recently as the mid-twentieth century—seem to be sticking around for a while yet.
Kim has been a published novelist since 1999 with the first edition of Dawnflight (Sonnet Books, Simon & Schuster) and has been studying the Arthurian legends for nigh on half a century.

This is a well written book that remind me of King Authors story's....
This is the first book that I have read by Ms. Headlee and I have to say I enjoyed it even if this isn’t the usual genre that I read. She has given us a story that will pull into the story and hold you there from start to finish. The characters are strong and the story line is great.
This is a story about a man named Angusel who has lost everything important to him from his kin, his clan, and his identity and even his country.
All because he failed his woman and her infant the most important people in his life. Angusel must begin to the journey of rebuilding his life and reclaiming his honor back, his path is filled with danger and some unexpected task and some reckoning that could be unavoidable on the way.
This is a great story and I could probably go on and on but then I will give away the story and we can’t do that. I recommend this book you won’t be disappointed.
