I received this as an ARC and I am honored to leave a review, this was an enjoyable read and I look forward to many more.
There is: a sweet & innocent prince (Nanuq) is desperate to escape his so-called destiny where he is suppose to marry an entire tribe of men but then a playboy Kif warrior (Rahim) comes into his life & the situation changes, a conniving tribesman (Mala), various kinds of aliens, fated mates, adventure, action, twists & turns, drama, intrigue, some suspense, humor, visions, traditions, threats, danger, some conflict, violence, challenges, confrontations, jealousy, devious intentions, decisions, compromises, determination, surprises, contentment, some steamy scenes & a very interesting epilogue. I really enjoyed reading this book & look forward to next book with great anticipation.
“I received a complimentary copy, and this is my honest & voluntary opinion”
Rahim received an invitation a random spot in space, attending a joining for a Prince of something a place his Kif had never heard of before this moment. On a planet covered in ice and snow, only to meet a vision that declaresthe snow told him they was destined to be.
Just loved this book, how can you not get hook when it starts off with environment that demands the attention of the Prince. Leading him to his future even if it's unseen or known to everyone else. When destiny calls the body must follow Nanuq and Rahim have a destination in a universe just waiting to be unlocked.
So this is what I’m going to say about Rahim and that is it is absolutely addicting and amazing!
I was completely hooked before I had even finished the first page and I stayed ensnared right until the end of the story where I was left wanting and needing more.
I definitely cannot wait until book 6 is here because Kiki Burrelli and Crista Crown definitely know how to weave unforgettable stories together and I look forward to reading more of their blended work.
So yes I most definitely do recommend this book because I loved it and I can honestly guarantee you will too.
Book 5 was my least favorite in this series so far. I think that was simply due to the under developed MCs relationship. The book was focused on the other dynamics and winning the battle which was important but in the process we didn't really get to see these MCs together.
The world building was nice in this book. We learned of a magical Frozen type world with magic. I found that to be really interesting but even the MPREG parts were less explained than other books. A forming? What is that? Magic?
I also felt like some things were not clarified or rectified in this story. What about Mala? I don't want to spoil anything so I'm just going to say what about Mala?
Overall, it was an important book for this series and if you have read all the first 4 books you will need to read this one, if for no other reason that that ending! I'm scared to read book 6 but I'm going in!
The thing is, yeah these books are great with the hot man-love stuff, but they each also have great storylines, characters, plot development, and heart (along with correct spelling, grammar, and syntax) something many books in the m/m genre sorely lack. Which is why both these authors, separately and as a team, are such a pleasure to read.
