It was enjoyable reading the first part of this 256 page (A super novel) book with the amusing dialogue between Remo Williams and his mentor Chiun concerning a baby elephant. In the meantime their boss, Harold W. Smith, has been on the phone with the newly elected President of the U.S. getting chewed out for not being on top of a crisis in the country’s security. It seems there are all kinds of things flying in the air and landing in the Washington D.C. area.
Like most of the “Destroyer” series, there is plenty of page turning action to stop an insane dictator. I never like to give away too much information on a novel because it spoils it for the reader.
If you are a “Destroyer” series fan you should check out this volume. It is a good read.
Rating: 4 Stars. Joseph J. Truncale (Author: Pro-Systems Combatives Vol. 1,2.).
where do the KKV locomotives come from that sail continent-to-continent ? It is a hide-and-seek mission that has Remo and Chiun scouring the desert to find the hiding place of such huge projectiles. A good read and a good ending !
