UPDATE: OK, Fair is fair, and stupid is stupid. My review was NOT fair and I am stupid. My previous review was totally based on pungent ignorance on my part. While it is true that the product dries rock solid, I made the assumption that it would be easily removed with a cloth or a paper towel, which is also true, BUT I failed to pay attention to the word RINSE. Once you wet the hardened product, it comes off waaaay more easily. You will still have to work it out, but in a way that is totally acceptable. The result is a very, very clean windshield. I apologize to Rain-X for not following the instructions and write a review that was not fair.
The product will definitely get your glass or plastic clean and shiny, BUT it will come at a cost. Definitely not to be removed with a soft cloth unless you are willing to invest the rest of your life in the task. The product dries very hard and consequently it his hard to remove. I just spent a bout 30 minutes to remove a couple of square inches from my windshield. Thanks good it is a long weekend and today is Saturday. I totally recommend some kind of power tool or a whole bunch of time to complete the job.
