"BELOVED, I AM LIFE. And I invite you, in this perfect moment, to realize that we - you and I - are one Spirit flowing within, and throughout, the infinite realm of matter, and that our unity has always and ever been so. Although for a while you forgot that we were united, that did not mean we were ever separated. It just rendered you briefly insensible to our eternal connection."
Invitation to Communion,
Raindrops of Love for A Thirsty World
______________________A timely spiritual guide to surviving and thriving in today’s pervasive, gloomy atmosphere of alienation and fear, Raindrops of Love For a Thirsty World, lays out a path to life long self-actualization, and reconnection through a shared consciousness. The author, Eileen Workman, has summoned the profound wisdom of The Life Force in a series of loving messages. These communications come at an opportune time, as we drift in a sea of anxiety and worry, deeply shaken by recent political, economic and social crises, and starved for connection due to divisiveness.
A decade ago Workman experienced a startling spiritual awakening. Abandoning her high-powered, highly-paid role in the financial world, she opened up to a channeled gift of eloquent, soul-stirring passages from what she calls LIFE - "The Life Force" - a field of energy and love that transformed her life and her relationship to humanity.
In four parts, Raindrops of Love For a Thirsty World encourages readers to undertake self-examination in a way that encourages them to fall back in love with themselves and learn to practice healthy self-discipline, self-awareness and self-love.
Part I - Soft Love: The Wonder of Self-Realization
Part II - Tough Love: The Challenge of Self-Discipline
Part III - Self-Love: The Responsibility of Self-Actualization
Part IV - Life Love: The Freedom of Self-Governance
As receivers of these compelling, wise messages from LIFE, readers are exhorted to manifest their greatest gifts in the world, which is exactly what the author decided to do when she changed the direction of her own life. This personal transformation and connection to the limitless love of LIFE is the key to a rewarding, meaningful life.

Informationen zum Autor

Eileen Workman graduated from Whittier College with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and minors in economics, history, and biology. She began working for Xerox Corporation, then spent 16 years in financial services for Smith Barney. After experiencing a spiritual awakening in 2007, Ms. Workman dedicated herself to writing “Sacred Economics: The Currency of Life” as a means for inviting us to question our longstanding assumptions about the nature, benefits, and genuine costs of capitalism. Her book focuses on how human society might move successfully through the more destructive aspects of late-stage corporatism.
“Raindrops of Love for a Thirsty World” is Ms. Workman’s second nonfiction offering. In “Raindrops”, Ms. Workman summons forth the wisdom of the life force that flows within us all, and invites it to speak with us in its own words.
Ms. Workman presently lives in the San Francisco Bay area with her husband, her son and daughter-in-law, and a menagerie of household pets.

I think of this book as the feminine expression of the Divine communicating directly to us.
In the morning my wife and I read a section and then go into meditation/contemplation and open to what it's message is for our lives.
A new book of such channeled material has arrived and it is special indeed. Instead of its origin within us using the handle “I AM,” this one uses the handle “LIFE.” So it is LIFE itself, the life force within and around us, that/who is the author, source of the material, and that author/source, LIFE, is within you, too, so maybe this is a book of your own wisdom, these ideas are yours, that is coming from the life force that is within you. An interesting ride to listen to the life force talk to you from within.
The name of this book is Rain Drops of Love for a Thirsty World, by LIFE (as shared with Eileen Workman). The author gave up a rich life to dedicate herself to scribing these passages for our benefit. I was struck by how timely they are, and how well indexed for your exploration. I was particularly impressed by the section on “The Challenge of Self-Discipline.” In a book on being in the flow, you’d think there would be no rules, or something that would put you at odds with yourself, as when you “try” to be “disciplined.” The suggestions are surprising, but very meaningful to me, someone who has a conflicted relationship with self-discipline. I really resonated to the approach of compassion for self, listening to self, as well as honoring ideals, in creating a healing synthesis of our polarities.
If you respond to channeled material, you will find this book especially enlightening.
The author challenges us to understand our presence in the here and now. This process requires us to allow our inner flow to move unencumbered - to achieve self actualization! Eileen is one of the few authors to really articulate self-actualization. The author challenges us to think about "What does it mean to be happy and alive?". Realizing our self worth is a related goal to attain in this exhaustive process of moving forward to become the person of our dreams.
In essence, the author teaches us ways to be open, courageous, compassionate, kind, patient and peaceable. All of these attributes are important principles of self love to strive for and emulate. Another important thing to do is to forgive and re-balance fear with love!
Overall, "Raindrops of Love..." by Eileen Workman is a huge self-empowerment book with very important spiritual and psychological implications for the quality of our lives in the here and now and the afterlife.
Sometimes, I’ll end up reading sections I’ve already read but will discover something new to ponder each time. More often than not, I’ll feel I’ve been guided to read that particular section for it will speak to something I’ve been struggling with.
There are many spiritual, self-help books on the market and many are wonderful and have contributed to my journey. This book is yet another of those yet it does that rare thing of providing a new perspective in an extremely grounded way. In this way, I think it is one of those newer breed of books that combines both head and heart in a complimentary way so it neither insults your intellectual intelligence or your emotional intelligence. Highly recommended.
