    I recently moved and now have a decent walk to/from work. We've had a wet summer so I needed to keep my work laptop and my gym clothes dry in my new commute. I went with the mid size - it fits my laptop, 5 subject notebook and gym clothes, a bit snug at times. One thing I would wish for is one or two more pockets. There is a single exterior pocket.Does it work? YES. YES. YES. Which s why I am writing this review. It easily held up the few times we had light rain, but today it was put to the test. On my walk home from work (0.62 miles) it was steady mid-heavy rain. My rain jacket was soaked and I concerned about the items in my backpack. Once inside I noticed the rain mostly pebbled off the exterior, and with a quick towel dry you could barely tell it rained that hard. The inside? Absolutely dry - not even damp. I attached two pictures, one after a quick paper towel dry and the other when I opened it. I was quite surprised as it was stuffed and even bulged out a bit. But the two buttons and front clasp did the job. If you live in a city and walk around a lot I highly recommend. If you are looking to carry many items I suggest getting the next size up. This one fit my needs but I will definitely be getting a larger size for traveling.I cannot comment yet on how it will hold up in heavy, windy storms, but I'm not too concerned to find out.
