Always loved this movie. Was in the mood for something nostalgic.

Purchased as a gift but have seen this DVD numerous times before.
Good story and fun to watch along with the emotional parts that add to the overall enjoyment.

Really. My kids and I watched this years ago and fell in love with this heart warming story. I had lost my dad around the same time this came out so watching how she learns to cope with the loss of her brother while accepting that it's ok to still find your passion and be ok, ment a lot. Can not tell you how excited I was to find this movie here finally.

I was trolling for a movie on Prime as I just got home from hospital and am still hurting but will heal. I spotted this. "At least it is a musical." AND it is Christian without whacking over the head with it!

I enjoyed the music very much and the acting was very good. Hilary Duff was great for the part. She has a good voice and has improved from the Lizzie McGuire days. The actor who played Jay was quite good but would have preferred the original person picked, Jonathan Jackson. I was thinking I was sad that Annie Potts dropped out too but I thought she would be playing the aunt for which she would have been perfect. However, as the role was the mother, no, I am very fine with the actress they went with.

The storyline is believable for the era. It is like teens at the time. I believe it stands up very well given it was a time period where the hair and clothing is fairly timeless. The music was very well done with little autotuning, however it is about a summer school (camp) that covers all music and these genres are what was needed for the melding of the various people, too.

Get out the popcorn, a few tissues, sit on the couch and enjoy.

Ella all? continuaba con sus ideales pero el amor y la ayuda de una persona como su profesor le ayudan a recuperar la confianza y as? tratar de obtener su beca, ara el a?o siguiente. Una pel?cula donde la determinaci?n y convicci?n ganadora luchan contra la desesparacion y la desesperanza despu?s de tal p?rdida.
