**Took a break for Caroline, Touch the Sun, and Spring Fires (the Beauvisage Series books one, two, and three)
Book Two. Surrender the Stars. Andre and Devon are asked by the President to go to London in 1814 to learn who is selling American secrets to the British. And to take Nathan and Lindsey, their grown, single children along. Since Nathan is away at sea, the Raveneau' s ask one of their privateer captains, Ryan, to impersonate him. Ryan left England a decade earlier and though there is a risk he may be recognized, he believes it is slight. And as far as a possible romantic attraction between the pseudo siblings, however, no one sees that happening. They are opposites after all.
**Break for Natalya, Beauvisage Series book four.
Book Three, Silver Sea. Adrienne Beauvisage has been working as a Governess, when unwelcome advances from the girls' father forces her to flee back to London. She takes a new job as a companion and vows never to marry. Because of threats of revenge made by her former employer, however, her father is concerned for her safety and hires Captain Nathan Ravenau to disguise himself and go with her as her bodyguard. In return Nathan will receive 50 acres on Barbados, where he already has an estate. All he has to do is protect Adrienne and her chastity for four months, until she turns twenty-one.
Overall, this collection is a solid 5 stars. Along with the Beauvisage novels, it is high on my reread and recommend lists.
I have been a fan of historical romance, particularly American History, for many years and am glad to have found these books. Ms. Wright is now one of my favorite authors. Thank you for the opportunity to rate these amazing novels. I would recommend these books to my friends and family.
