Build & Ship Information
Your new Raleigh will arrive partially assembled. You’ll get the chance to use a little elbow grease and learn how your new bike works without having to start from the ground up. Still, we understand that building a bike is a process. Assembly times vary with experience. You’ll be riding in anywhere from 30 (skilled bike mechanic) to 120 minutes (no prior experience building bikes). If you’re not comfortable assembling your bike for any reason, please take it to your local bike shop for assistance. Raleigh cannot be held responsible for any damage caused by improper assembly.

I got this for my SO and I like it more than my road bike. Very lightweight. weighed in right at 24.0 lbs including pedals. also there is clearance for a larger tire than the 35s that come on it. However i think the 35s are perfect for this frame. very soft and fast ride. I hit 26 mph on the mounted speed gun behind my house(slightly down hill but whatever).
Setting up the bike was a breeze, and shifting has been flawless since i pulled it out of the box.
10 out of 10 for me.
The bike is for my wife so I’ll need to follow up with her opinion on the ride, but for what it’s worth here are my thoughts. Decent shifting, I like the shift indicators and grip shift. Brakes work as well as expected. Seat is hard, but will probably take some wearing in. It’s very light and the larger 700cc wheels smooth out the fix frame ride. Stretch it out about 5” and I’d be happy with it as my commuter, but she’s shorter so the 15” should work well.
I’m used to a full suss mountain bike so yea this is a bit stiff, but not problematically or uncomfortably so. It’s decently quick for an entry level + bike. I’d say it’s worth the $300. Will follow up with more
