Build & Ship Information
Your new Raleigh will arrive partially assembled. You’ll get the chance to use a little elbow grease and learn how your new bike works without having to start from the ground up. Still, we understand that building a bike is a process. Assembly times vary with experience. You’ll be riding in anywhere from 30 (skilled bike mechanic) to 120 minutes (no prior experience building bikes). If you’re not comfortable assembling your bike for any reason, please take it to your local bike shop for assistance. Raleigh cannot be held responsible for any damage caused by improper assembly.

At Raleigh, we have a long history, but always look forward to the road ahead.
For 130 years, we’ve been pushing the boundaries of what gets the world riding in style and comfort – from the factory floor to the saddle, our commitment to spreading the joy of the ride has never wavered.
We are inventors. Innovators. Trendsetters. Troublemakers (sorry, mum).
You’ll find us commuting to work on our classic steel steeds, cruising to coffee and concerts with friends, getting muddy with buddies on Saturday and pedaling the bike path with the family come Sunday. As long as we’re on two wheels, it’s all good.
We do what we do because we love to ride. And we want to share that ride with you.
So let’s come together and get rolling. Let’s have a laugh and lean into the curves. Let’s take this baby out for a spin and see where it takes us.
Ride and glide with style (and 7 speeds) on your side. The 7-speed Raleigh retro glide 7 offers an uphill advantage over other Beach cruisers. Whether you are riding around the neighborhood or down the boardwalk, the retro glide 7 will ensure the fun doesn't stop just because a hill starts. Made to be both good looking and functional, the retro glide 7 offers a durable steel frame with classic cruiser lines. Sweep style handlebars complete the look and make sure your ride is upright and comfortable. A big, plush Raleigh cruiser deluxe dual spring saddle and cruiser grips add comfort while the chain Guard protects clothing from getting caught up. Metal fenders deflect dirt, grime and water, and the handy kickstand encourages plenty of rest stops. Raleigh bicycles are designed around one simple idea: fun. The retro glide 7 shows that this idea is still a big part of our design today. Grab a retro glide 7 and see where 7 speeds of cruising fun can take you.

One thing to keep in mind is that if you set it up to be able to have your feet flat on the ground as you sit on the seat, you will not be able to extend your legs fully when you pedal. This is always going to be a compromise.
The frame is aluminum so it stands up to the salt air where I live.
At $239 it's a real bargain. It matches up against bikes retailing for over $600.
I am very happy with this purchase
