Your new Raleigh will arrive partially assembled. You’ll get the chance to use a little elbow grease and learn how your new bike works without having to start from the ground up. Still, we understand that building a bike is a process. Assembly times vary with experience. You’ll be riding in anywhere from 30 (skilled bike mechanic) to 120 minutes (no prior experience building bikes). If you’re not comfortable assembling your bike for any reason, please take it to your local bike shop for assistance. Raleigh cannot be held responsible for any damage caused by improper assembly.

We do what we do because we love to ride. And we want to share that ride with you.
So let’s come together and get rolling. Let’s have a laugh and lean into the curves. Let’s take this baby out for a spin and see where it takes us.

For assembly all I needed was 5mm / 6mm hex keys, some medium needle-nose pliers with wire-cutter and some grease (I used Super-Lube from a local hardware store). The bike wasn't hard to assemble but it was a fiddly job, given that it was my first time. I spent about two hours on it. If you get into trouble, look up the Raleigh manual on the web.
I've been riding the bike around town and it rides like a dream except for occasional shifting difficulty. I can't tell if that's my problem or an adjustment is needed somewhere.
PS. I bought the tan model. It has a slight olive-green tinge not evident on the Amazon page.
Assembly was pretty easy. Didn't have to follow the instructions, but based on briefly reviewing them, they seemed straight forward. I took the bike out for a spin and and fine tuned the brakes to my liking. I do like the fact that you only need a 6mm allen to make most adjustments.
I'd highly recommend buying this model.
Bike required some adjustments, wheels and pedals were little tight, make sure you have tools (thin ranches) and know what to do.
Most time-consuming (but not complex) was derailleur adjustment. There are excellent videos on the tube, easy to follow.
Manual is not very user-friendly. Too long, in small font. Didn't use it much. Came with set of hex wrenches, plus one more thin for pedal install/removal.
Overall - A+, IF you know how to work with a bike. Otherwise take it to a shop and have them assemble it.
