About the Author

Gáirín is the husband and wife singing and songwriting duo of Tom and Mary Kay Aufrance Their music and songs are enjoyed by Celtic music lovers everywhere, due to worldwide distribution. The Aufrances got their start in the early 90's by making merrie music at Renaissance fairs, Celtic festivals and Irish tune playing sessions. The Aufrances became popular regular performers by extending their vocal talents and arrangements toward the creation of interesting and musically pleasing versions of Celtic favorites. By the way, Gáirín is Pidgeon Gaelic and it means a little laughter, like a chuckle! You can find out more and listen to the music by visiting http://aufrance.com/gairin --This text refers to the paperback edition.
