There is no serrated knife included in this collection, but Rambo: The Complete Collector's Set will satisfy almost everything else a fan needs. Six discs are included, comprising the four feature Rambo films, a digital copy of Rambo (2008), and a disc full of supplemental material. (A number of the extras have been available on previous DVD editions.) Each film has a commentary: directors George P. Cosmatos and Peter MacDonald on Rambo: First Blood Part II and Rambo III respectively, and Sylvester Stallone on First Blood and Rambo. Although mentioned in the packaging, a previously available commentary by First Blood novelist David Morrell is not included. If you've never heard a Stallone commentary, be advised: the man has uncanny recall of scenes and moments, and is not shy about recounting anecdotes (especially when it comes to establishing how he changed the material to his liking or suffered for a scene). Seriously, he's a very entertaining talker. Surprisingly, the collection of featurettes, especially the historical-context stuff, is remarkably ambitious and even-handed; the interviewees include some very trustworthy and respected authorities talking about Vietnam, Afghanistan, and the mythological resonance of the Rambo character. I ordered this set a number of years ago because it contained the last Rambo movie. I never even thought about watching any of the earlier movies until a few nights ago.
Much to my disappointment, the First Blood and First Blood II discs are bad. They both look pristine, no scratches or anything, but won't play without freezing or stuttering. First Blood can't get past the scene where the national guard guys use a rocket launcher and in First Blood II, the scenes keep stuttering after Julia Nickson gets killed.
It's too late to file for a return, so I'm pretty bummed:(

While I'm not technically, A Rambo addict, I did want to see the movies again. They are classics, and the first three are well done, with tons of action. They are as remembered. I had not seen the last one, Rambo (or John Rambo...some of the titles seem to be interchangeable, and therefore confusing)) I will say, the 4th, Rambo, while the story is along the same lines as the previous three, it was extremely graphic, which, in my opinion, ruined it. The violence wasn't exactly more than the previous movies, but it was ,well, just MORE. And totally unnecessary to the story. I should have been prepared when photos from, I can only guess, historical archives, of real torture, gore and real dead bodies, was the precursor to the credits. I was extremely disappointed in Rambo. The gore, blood, guts and dismemberment in graphic detail was totally unnecessary to the story, and it could have been done in a much less gory way and still been quite effective.
Technically, I was disappointed that the first three movies had no subtitles.

Remembering that I loved watching parts 2 and 3 as a kid, and greatly enjoyed the fourth film as an adult, I decided to grab this box set. It's everything I wanted. Now I just have an extra copy of First Blood if a friend should want to borrow it. Love the extras, especially the commentary tracks. I could listen to Stallone talk about his films all day.

I have all these movies in dvd versions for years already. I even have the blue ray (double disc) version of Rambo 3 in my collection. I don't mind to have 2 blue ray disc of same movie, because I can give the extra to relative or friend as gift. Rambo complete collector's set is considered as classic movies for movie lovers. I highly recommend any one to buy it with no hesitation.

Alright. So, straight to it.
The case was fine. Not cracked or anything. The disks we're all secured in place properly.
The underside of the disks looked great. No smudges, bubbles, or cracks.
Top side of disks looks fine as well.
I've watched the first movie, and am currently about half way through the second. So far, no playback errors. I'll just assume for now that there will be none through the rest of the set. If I happen to come across any later on, I'll update this review. If this doesn't get updated soon, just go with everything is fine.

The 4th movie is Disk 1 Feature Film. There's only 4 disks. Where is Disk 2? What is Disk 2? Where did Disk 1 come from? Is this set just frankensteined from other movies?
Reading back through the product details, it DOES say 4 disks. It doesn't say they've popped open another case and stuck that disk in here to make this a set.

I found the 4th film to be "interesting". Background for that film was the military in Burma (now called Myanmar) were wiping out a religious minority. The film was made in 2008 and the hope was that a change in government (electing the opposition leader) would stop the violence. 10 years later, the opposition leader is running the country but the violence has continued and a different minority group is being wiped out.

I'm looking forward to the next and final Rambo film (Last Blood). It's supposed to be released late in 2019.

It has all four movie and also shows what Rambo is all about: an ex commando who kicks serious ass and also a human being like the rest of us in certain moments. Even though the violence is over the top, it is all justified for it is a war. The first movie was shot in British Columbia Canada while the others were shot in other areas of the world in South East Asia.

is the 5.1 Master Audio of the first three movies really suck,
the gunfire an explosion of the sound is so corny, it’s laughable to the point of silly,
when they Re-do movies that is this old they never seem to take the time to give you
what they say it is like 5.1 but not really, the Master HD is left out that’s for sure,
the last one Rambo” is the real 5.1 Master HD, soon I put it in my player you tell the difference,
but the picture quality is really really good they didn’t sting on that part,
