Top Customer Reviews

I would give this book 100 stars if that were possible. Not only are the stories thrilling, touching, rare, and unique, the book inspired me to be a far better person than ever before. It shows the ability of the human soul to overcome the greatest chasms of hatred in order to comfort or rescue one's fellow man. Men and women are involved in the most astounding and heart-rending wartime acts of not only compassion for their enemy, but carrying them out with amazing courage under risk of death or capture. I found a great deal of redeeming human potential in this most marvelous book, and I am forever grateful for it. People of all ages need to read it; you will not only be entertained, you will emerge from it a better person.
