Fear of Frogs: Brimstone 2
The title is "Hot Off the Range" and why there is a science fiction story with angels and demons is lost on me. I did not care for this one at all.
BULL: Corralling Nature 1
This story does have a cowboy but it is not what it seems on the surface. I won't spoil it for anyone who might like it, but this is definitely not to my taste, either. And the relationship was not written to appeal to men. Can't stand it when the term "my lover" gets used after the first kiss. It's a cheap shot and made worse by the use of "honey" as an endearment.
The first three stories fit well with the anthology title.
Once A Cowboy
Cowboys, or actually "jackaroos" since the story is placed in Australia. Good character development and a bit of redemption make this an interesting tale.
Accounting for the Hero
A rather unlikely combination which seem out of place with the location and each other actually manage to build a decent story. Good character development.
Sock Poacher and the Shower Thief: Tall Tales of Hooper's Town
Good character development, a fast, hot introduction but a long slow build to the relationship. Humor mixed in with the action. It could have been a bit longer and would have benefitted with more detail for a few of the issues.
