Bought this for our 2013 Tahoe 5.3L. This was the cheaper alternative to the popular more expensive tuners. Ohhh its so nice to have a whole engine available with no hesitation and much better throttle response. Other reviewers have stated that it killed their battery after the vehicle sat for a couple of days... well the box clearly states that if the vehicle is not to be driven, then the device should be removed because it may cause parasitic draw on some vehicles. Other reviewers have stated they saw blinking lights and then nothing... yes when the vehicle is started the lights do blink and then there is a solid light that you don’t see unless you hold your hand under the device to see it lit, which is great because I was worried about a glaring annoying glow coming from under the dash. I can leave this plugged in on my truck and it just works. No need to unplug and replug everytime the vehicle is stopped/started. The biggest thing that tells me that is the engine management display which shows wether its in in V4 or V8 mode and current MPG, it says V8 all the time now. Smoother idle, no more shudder. Ill update if I experience any problems.
***update*** 3-25-18 To date there have been no issues. The truck was finally able to sit undriven for 4 days with the device still plugged into the OBDII port and there were no issues with a dead battery. Some other reviewers had an issue with it creating a parasitic draw, but I am happy to report that I have yet to see that problem.
