I'm a total Ranger enthusiast. These are great for a variety of techniques, search on YouTube to see all the ways that they can be used. They coordinate perfectly with the Distress Ink Pads. I did swatches of the Ink Pads and the markers and the colors were virtually the same. There is a pen-ish side for writing and a brush end. The fine tip seems to have minimal bleedthrough with regular cardstock, but the brush tip bleedthrough will depend on pressure used and how many times you go over it.

Pro Tip:
-If you are using the brush end to color on your rubber stamps before stamping them, use the side of the brush, not the very tip or you will make it so there isn't a "tip" anymore. I know because I did it. So don't do that. It's instant sad.

-If you are utilizing these markers with watercolor techniques, be prepared for it to have various kinds of shading/blending, or lack thereof, depending on your surface. Tim Holtz did a YouTube video on how the results of the watercolor technique vary on different surfaces, but the title escapes me at the moment. Basically, use watercolor paper if you're going to do that. I've found that Smooth Bristol 300 series paper also works great with the watercolor technique.

I waited a very long time before purchasing these markers and I'm kicking myself for waiting so long! I love watercoloring and these markers are perfect for this technique. They are very easy to use, colors are vibrant. The only warning I have is that the cap color does not represent the ink color very well at all so make sure you read the color printed on the marker first. Other than that, they are great.

I like the markers except that the white marker is dried up and that's one I really need. I hope I can get a replacement. Also, there are only 47 markers in the canister so I'm missing 2. I have no idea what 2 colors are missing. Not happy.

I have never used any marker that is nicer than these! I have used just about every type of marker, blending pencil out there, and these are the very best, hands down! I wish I hadn't wasted so much money on Copics! These are easy to use, and you get AWESOME results the very first time! What more could you ask for?! The colors are just lovely too.

When these arrived the lid for the tube had come completely off and markers were tossed all over in the box. Six of the marker lids had also come off and a few of those markers were dried. Other than that the rest of the markers are of good quality with great color selection. Taping the cylinder lid on would have probably resolved this shipping problem.

I had to return mine because many of them were dry. I spoke to the manufacturer and they said that when you buy direct, they ensure that the markers are always stored on their sides to keep the nibs from drying out. So when buying at a discount on Amazon, it's hard to predict what you will get.

Three of my pens dried out on the fine side and two dried out completely, even though I store them on their sides and I am anal about the caps on tight. I barely use them and I live in a humid beach climate. I'm also disapointed in the big tip because it wore out with very little pressure so they are useless for hand lettering. I would not purchase this product again or recommend it!

I would love to give these markers a 5 star for watercolor techniques and for coloring on stamps. I really enjoyed using them. However, mine are about 3 years old and all dried up. In fact, a couple of them dried up in two years. The fine tip end rarely if every worked. I have had other, cheaper brands and none of them dried up this quickly. My distress pads are almost 7 and still going yet these did not hold up. I don't wish to invest that much every couple of years so time to switch to another brand.
