Tip: if the embossing result comes out a bit uneven, sometimes I use the pen to draw over the parts that look spotty and then put embossing powder on top and heat it again. It's like double-embossing - it really smooths out any gaps where the stamp didn't lay ink evenly or where the embossing powder didn't stick.
Overall, both of these are great. You get two different pens for two different styles - I have found that the bullet tip is my favorite of the two - it is much easier to handle. The markings stay wet for a pretty long time, giving you plenty of time to sprinkle on the embossing powder. You honestly can't go wrong with this set!
I found that at first, they were very very good. I was please with both pen tips (brush and bullet) and the amount of ink they produced led to a very high quality finished product. However, after about 15-20 (very average) uses, I found the amount of ink decreased quite a bit and I was having to double trace over my lines to produce a clean emboss.
The bullet tip has lasted longer than the brush, but that's likely because I'm able to use a bit more pressure with it.
Overall, they're great at first but I will be trying a different brand with my next purchase.
