Love the distress oxide inks. You don’t have to use the distress water properties - they do regular stamping as well really nicely. They clean off the stamp so easily. They are great on dark card stocks. I really like how easily they blend - more easily than reg distress inks. They have a wonderful creamy look. The oxide -when water is applied turns ink to a chalky surface - slightly white. Fun to create with

I love working with these inks. It's my second 12 pack purchase. The techniques are endless using these inks. I watched several YouTube videos as I learned to work with these awesome inks. They are easy to use and never stain stamps or fingers, simply wipe with water. They have a beautiful chalky look to them but the color sets and does not rub off. You can even layer these inks. They are just fun and amazing to work with.

I love these inks. They are versatile for use in coloring books, both pictures and backgrounds especially. They blend beautifully and may be colored over by colored pencil which produces flawless backgrounds. I have not used the water for spotting technique yet, but look forward to doing so. They also work well with stencils. Fun medium for me to use. Plan on buying more later on.

Watch out these are addictive. They blend like butter and you can do stuff like add water droplet techniques. They can be used as a stamp pad. You can keep adding colors as you like and not wind up with mud so long as you let it dry a bit. It's fun on photo paper because you can add different colors and once it's all dry wipe it with a kitchen paper towel or cloth towel and wow, shiny with only the inky look left behind. Just type in Distress Oxide on YouTube or Google and get loads of fun ideas.

These oxides are AWESOME and blend like butter. I also use them just as ink to stamp with. The images appear crisper than when using regular distress inks. (Don't get me wrong, I LOVE distress inks but don't prefer them for stamping, but more for color). I love Oxide Inks. The colors are great. I use these to watercolor. I press the stamp pad (face down) on my glass craft mat so I have a little smear of ink. Then I use a wet brush to blend and paint just like any other watercolor. I like these better than watercolors because the colors are so good and I can spritz my painting with water if I want to create a different look.

I held off on buying these inks because I wanted to buy multiple colours at the same time, and it was just too expensive. I finally splurged with an amazon gift card. These are BEAUTIFUL! I've never used a hybrid ink before, so I don't know if they all work like this but I LOVE them! Dye inks are great but they don't blend well, and pigments are too sticky and take too long to dry - even with a heat gun. These are perfect. I wish I would have splurged on these a long time ago. If you watch demonstrators using these inks and wonder how they get beautiful blends, it's the ink. The blending of these inks alone is stunning. Even stamping is beautiful. They don't take too long to dry and if I want to speed it up I use a heat gun for a few seconds and it's dry. I'm very happy with my purchase. I do recommend getting the Ranger mini ink blending tool for this ink, with multiple foams for each colour.
