I was excited to receive this item. I live in a small town where such spices are hard to find without driving 60+ miles. Unfortunately once I got the lid off I noticed the seal was open and looking at the stain on the lid I’d say it didn’t happen upon me opening it. It smells nice, but with an open seal I can’t feel safe serving it. I attempted to do an exchange and when I clicked on “replace or return” was given the response “this item isn’t returnable”. I’m very frustrated and afraid to try again. I guess I’ll be driving that 60+ miles hoping to find garam masala.
