This is a positive review so here it goes...opening it up is like opening a bag of farts but that’s what you’re looking for with this, right?! A little goes a long way and it’s a pretty decent sized bag. Worth the money and helps give that eggy flavor to vegan scrambles I make with chick pea flour. Would recommend but beware it is stinky!!!

This is high quality black salt. I made scrambled tofu with it for someone who is battling cancer and heart disease and is now going on a plant based diet after decades of self injury from animal product consumption. I love Tofu scramble for breakfast because literally there's nothing better, but this black salt right here steps up my Tofu scramble game by 110%! It legit makes the Tofu taste like eggs! I love it with spinach and mushrooms, and a bit of tumeric (for the yellow color and the health benefits) and black pepper, and maybe a bit of basil or oregano. Get this salt. It'll change your life! I recommend it to all my friends and family who love Tofu scramble!

I bought it because I had read about it for egg flavor for vegan foods. My son is vegan and I am not but I make him vegan foods on the holidays so he can come enjoy and spend time with the family. I specifically bought this product to make a tofu potato salad in place of a hard boiled egg potato salad. The flavor was wonderful. It smelled the same as a hard boiled egg potato salad and my younger son who loves meat didn't know I had used tofu and this to make a separate potato salad and ate some at midnight not noticing the difference. It is a great product. When or if I run out I am getting this again. I split it with my vegan son anyway so I might run out and need more.

If you are vegan and missing eggs then you need this. It gives Just Eggs or tofu that eggy taste. I used it to make a vegan deviled egg & egg salad. I pickled some white mushrooms and put black salt in the jar so the mushrooms could be the egg white. It worked! It go a long way, you won't have to use much.

I'm no Black Salt aficionado,and this is my first experience with it. I sought it out for one purpose-tofu scrambles. I've been vegan for like 14 years and i recently, vaguely recalled an old school 'technique' that involved black salt and nutritional yeast-the black salt (when used in proper proportions)gives the tofu a subtle sulphur flavor .

FIVE STARS because it kicked up a lot of HELLA old feelings-the flavor was pretty much identical to egg and it made shit HELLA nostalgic.
