Callie Hart has another success on her hands!
Still not enough for you?? You can get more Rebel later in the Blood and Roses Series. Everyone loves some Zeth MF Mayfair.
I gave Rebel 5🌟
I gave Rouge 4🌟
I know I'm probably going to be on the outcast side of reviews for this, but I have to go with my gut on this one.
This book has the bad@$$-ness in the characters, along with the strong female leads. Even if some are crazy.
It just didn't have that WOW factor. I thought there was a lot more filler with the sex, than actual meat in the story. There were just so many pages filled with the $ex between Rebel and Sofia, I started to skim through them and get to the continuation of the story. I mean don't get me wrong. Callie can write some panty melting scenes, it just in this short of book, I was expecting more plot, more grit.
I don't want to say to much and give away the plot line to finish out this series, but I'm sure with that ending, we'll probably see more of these characters (add smiley face).
I've read most all of Callie's books, and will continue to do so.
OR DO I, IN MY SUBLIMINAL WAY.
I’ve waited for this part of the story, if anyone has read the Blood and Roses series, then you’ll understand what went down in Ransom. Oh, and it went down.
Rebel/Jamie and Sophia/Alexis are Mr. and Mrs. Smith urbanized. (not a word) It doesn’t matter that s*** has hit the fan in their world. Those two held their breath, lit a match, and turn it into Hiroshima in New Mexico. I LOVE IT! The story… The story was edgy, controversial, and sexy as eva! That’s why I love Callie/Frankie, she never disappoints me… Well once, when she killed off Lacey in the Blood and Roses series, but all is forgiven because that’s what makes a great storyline.
I can feel a Cade spin-off, oh and I believe that he is the key to mother Maria Rosa’s undoing. It’s sick, but it’s hot. I wonder who’ll destroy who in that story… I’m like a kid in the Disney store full of animated imagination.
I don’t normally do this but this part right here, gave me goose bumps.
Chapter fifteen has a bible passage. AWESOME!
If you get nothing from this passage, shame on you!
It isn’t over, and none of the ladies characters in this series are portrayed to be big boned… Even so, she ain’t singing.
When you read further along into this story when Dr. Alan Romero is faced with his destiny, pay attention to what he says… Ha-Ha! Doc is no punk by all means.
I want to crawl inside Callie’s head and see the future of Dead Man’s Ink. Some heads are going to roll, leave your ink at the door!
My disclaimer: I don't do spoilers, I want you to have "THE CALLIE HART" experience.
In this book it is time to deal with Ramirez. He has done the one thing that could make Sophie sacrifice herself to save this person. But Rebel has other plans, he has to convince her that she can put her full trust into him fixing it without him losing her.
Two things, Shay is still a raging B. And what happened in Chicago?!
