The value here is undeniable. The product appears to be high quality, however, it is worth noting that you will need to provide your own 5V 2.0A USB power supply if you want to benefit from the claimed 3 hour "quick charge" capability of the included charger, since the package contains no A/C power supply. I'm sure this was a cost saving measure on the part of the manufacturer and also makes their product compatible across international markets. The USB 3.0 port on the XBOX only provides 0.9A so the batteries will take longer to charge if you're using that. Unless you are really plowing through batteries this probably won't be an issue for you.

During the initial charge, the charger kept turning off. This was better charging the 3rd and 4th batteries so I figured it was nothing. However this charger has a high pitch sound when plugged in. It makes a noise even when not actively charging but plugged it though it is louder when charging. You will not be able to leave this plugged in. I wanted to leave it plugged in in our entertainment center and charge when needed, but that is not an option due to the noise. It came time to charge batteries 1 and 2 for the first "recharge". The charger LEDs turned red for about a minute then turned off. I smelled the distinct smell of electric shorting out. If you have ever had an invertor or transformer fail, you know the smell I am talking about. Needless to say the charger is now DOA. I am returning. The only positive was that the batteries did well.

I tried it and it works flawlessly plus no battery loss after the controller is off, which I had problems with regular batteries. The only thing that sucks there's no Power adapter to connect it to. Luckily I have an old Motorola Power adapter for my old Nexus 6 phone and using that for the power.

Bought these for my 2 controllers that I use on a regular basis. Battery life seems long so far. My only gripe is the high pitch noise coming from the charger. I understand its nothing bad, just the charger doing its job. Luckily the sound stops when the batteries are fully charged. Overall pretty good, just keep in mind of the noise. If your room is always quiet this could annoy the crap out of you.
