Everyone really ought to read this book - or at least the first half - NOW

On the positive side, after reading just the first chapter or two, I had to admit that it is accurate in its detail as to why the rapture comes at the end and not in the beginning as I've been taught all my life. But it seemed to me that the book could be much shorter. In the beginning of the book, he explains why he rehearses the same Scriptures from different perspectives over and over, but it still seemed redundant as I read it. Also, the more I read the book the more angry the writer seemed to become and the more depressed I seemed to become while reading it. Maybe that's to be expected but I don't like that I felt that he was venting his anger at the other - erroneous - 'teachers'. But then, maybe that's to be expected as well. After all, Paul does that in his writings in the New Testament so Michael Snyder is not deviating from protocol esp. since he does not name names. So, for the two of these, I took off one point. But, overall, it IS a book well worth reading and I recommend you reading it NOW.

This is the 1st book that rings true on the Rapture. Read it with an open mind and you will see that it makes sense.There are a number of O.T. examples of God allowing His people to suffer tribulation. He protected them when His Wrath was poured out. Noah and the Arc; Lot escaping Sodom and Gomorrah; The children of Israel were protected when God poured out His Wrath on Egypt; and they were delivered from Pharaoh crossing the Red Sea to the Promised Land. In all of these cases the people suffered at the hand of man. But the N.T. tells that we are not destined for Wrath. Wrath is delivered by God while Tribulation comes from Man. Please think about the message of this book and Prayerfully consider the conclusions that the author presents.

A great book to help clear up the different rapture theories. As a lifelong pre-tribulationist I always had doubts about my belief. It just didn't measure up to the rest of the pattern of prophecy. The events of revelation are clearly laid out and no question when they will occur. Only the pre-tribulation rapture was not clear. After reading this book it became clear to me why I had doubts about the pre-tribulation rapture of the church. Now I clearly understand why believers will go through the tribulation and why it is important that we prepare ourselves for this event.

I have read the Tim Lahaye Left behind series and other teachings which teach the Rapture is "before" tribulation. When I read reviews that say this book is a teaching that the Rapture is not before Tribulation I was curious. I have always been on the side of thinking, "Jesus himself said that he did not know the day nor hour nor time, only to look for these signs (Matthew 24). I believe we are in those days the Lord referenced. I am looking for his return. If I have to endure Tribulation I will, this life is fleeting, with the Lord it's eternal. Let's see what this writer has to say. I gave 5 stars for shipping, clean copy, and first few chapters are written well. I can't fault a person's theory.

I am a Medical Scientist who has worked in R&D in the past and have been in this field for almost 30 years. As a Scientist and a Christian, all of my study must be evidentiary based and I rely on Scripture to lead me to the truth. In my studies, I use Logos 6 software due to the incredible research tools available, especially the interlinears and reverse interlinears.

Mr. Snyder appears to have a similar basis for his Bible research and it is no surprise since his background as an attorney would have left him trained to use supporting evidence. This book is very heavily documented with Scripture, sometimes being redundant for those of us who study the Bible often, but I understand why he did that so I did not deduct for it. I do wish he had left out some of the commentary, which can at times feel like it is denigrating others who do not understand his viewpoint. This is a touchy subject, as seen with the one star reviews and a straight forward laying out of facts would have been my approach. However, the facts are overwhelming and he has saved me months of research by writing the book. I was able to read it within a few days and then fact check his Greek (and some Hebrew) to see that he was correct on interpretations. I had early on believed from my readings of passages in the Old and New Testaments that the Ressurection (I don't care for the term Rapture) would happen in or at the end of the 7 years of Tribulation, but I actually had been leaning more towards the Pre-Tribulation after speaking with some Christians and Christian leaders who I assumed had studied more since I have mainly focused on researching fulfilled Prophecy to use as a testimony for the non-believers I am trying to inform. After reading the book and spending time verifying the claims, I am convinced he is correct.

I am surprised there are one star reviews of the book. Although it is hotly debated, I feel a one star review must just be an emotional response to a firmly held belief. The book is well documented and Scripture is clearly placed (if repetitive). It should at least deserve three stars for the evidence based conclusions and the systematic approach he took. As a Scientist who used to do research, I am glad to see the approach he used.

As believers of Christ, there is no reason we should attack esch other for what we believe anout this subject. We are all saved and whether I am correct in my current belief of the timing or if it is earlier, it will not change our final destiny in the vody of Christ. I recommend this book no matter what you believe. It will hopefully get Christians to delve deeper into Scripture and spark others to do their own research instead of relying on others. God bless!
