This book is worthless. Unfortunately, I didn't notice how incredibly short it is until after I'd purchased it. Read the introduction and you're 10% of the way through the content. The writing is terrible to begin with; the author doesn't seem to have even a basic grasp of English. How other reviewers considered this "comprehensive" is beyond me. The "step by step" instructions mainly consist of "go find step by step instructions as <x, y or zed> is out of the scope of this book."

According to the title, you're going to get source code and step by step instruction. Not hardly. All the cool "projects" listed in the description are actually just downloaded apps; go get this app, install it on your Raspberry Pi, and figure out how to run it. In no way is it a development guide. I found no value in this book whatsoever.

This guide book is not that great. I was expecting something that had more detail about each of the steps for each of the projects. The steps broken down are not especially detailed and the pictures, what few there are, are of a low print quality. It would be nice to have more pictured steps, but given the print quality, it probably wouldn't help a whole lot. A lot of the projects are the same as what I've seen online and given the lack of added detail, I don't think this was worth the money.

It doesn't even appear to have been proof read due to the many grammatical errors and improper use of words.
