My experience reading Ratman and Robin pushed me to write this review
I was really impressed by the content of the book:
• the development of the characters
• Profound plot
• the explosive action
• the suspense
• the humor
Surprisingly, I was really in awe of the K.A. Bolton’s writing style, thoughtful expressions, very very detailed description and word usage. I think the author did a great job of writing the story in a way that you can see it unfold visually as you read. He really gave the characters their unique personalities.
Finally, one of the most difficult things to do is to conclude a story to a satisfactorily apex that makes you want to read it again. However, I think the author did a great job with bringing the story to an exceptional ending, although I didn’t want it to end.
Yesterday, I decided to read a few chapters with him, and just as the description says, it's really action packed. It's also funny and entertaining. A lot of play on words as well, lol.
From my experience, only a few books live up to the expectations and delivers on what was advertised and this book definitely delivers on multiple levels.
It's really a fun and enjoyable read, a book that you'll want to read over and over. Now I see why my son got hooked into reading it.
A good boy who has rescued a rat and a bird is rescued, and his mother, the milkman, and the entire community are rescued, from the evil of a gang of feline fiends who are determined to corner the milk supply so that humans will be unable to grow strong bones.
I got a chuckle out of it. But alas, even our youngest grandchild has outgrown this one. If your children or grandchildren are young enough, plan to read this for the twenty thousand times it will be requested.
I’ve been enjoying reading this book. It is very nostalgic for me; reminding me of the stories I really loved and enjoyed as a kid. It brought a bit of much needed folly and whimsy to my day and put a smile on my face. It’s definitely a book I would enjoy sharing with the young kids in my life.
