We’re constantly connected through our phones, laptops and the Web every moment of every day. But while we look at our screens, who’s looking at us? Meet Emma, a beautiful young grad student who has just moved from the Midwest to New York, excited to be on her own in the big city. But when a stalker hacks into her devices, he destroys Emma’s illusions of privacy and she discovers just how fragile our sense of security can be. Ashley Benson stars in the groundbreaking psychological thriller that explores a world where the cameras are always on and someone’s always watching.

I got this bc I loved Hanna on pretty Little Liars so I looked into what else she has been in thought I try this well it’s like paranormal activity movie the way the camera is it’s like it’s being filmed with a phone or regular camera lot of it is her just watching tv or tlking on phone and playing with her computer the stalker that comes around isn’t really that noticeable really it’s just werid honestly the ending was horrible spoiler alert when she is in the dark apartment tlking to her mom about this stalker then it goes dark and all u hear is her mom screaming on speaker at what’s going on with her and the stalker u don’t know what is happening and her mom begs for him or her to stop and that part was sad and got me upset but for it to end just like that making no sence not knowing anything having no finish to this is that much more disappointing I get some movies just want to leave imagination to viewers or leave room for a sequel but this one was just not the way to go at all seeing the whole movie of these little werid gestures she gets from someone then all sudden have that person finally decide to approach her and u as viewer see nothing only hear her mom yelling at what she can hear from them and then that’s it just was stupid and waste of time they could have done some good things speically with “Hanna” (pretty Little Liars) she is amazing actress and not using that is just annoying

Don't let the "it's been done before" concept fool you; this is a FANTASTIC movie!

What can I say? I'm the kind of guy who watches all the A horror movies and then digs into all the B and C that any streaming service has to offer. I've seen every version of "this plot concept" done before, and I can say this film is one of my absolute FAVORITES. The way in which this concept is pulled off is not only ultra-realistic -- as compared to some over-sensationalized or over-dramatized versions of this premise -- but it's cleverly perspective-ized (can I make that a word?) to an incredibly well achieved story and climax.

I may have given this movie a better rating, than only 2 stars. Probably 3, at least. Perhaps 4. But I didn't like the ending. It wasn't about what happened to the girl. It was, not knowing what happened to the girl. In the ending, the police enter the apartment, while the credits are rolling. But we have know idea what happened. The cyber stalker/predator had gotten into the apartment. She was apparently attacked. But when the police enter, there's the question. Was the apartment empty? Had she been taken? Was she there, having been raped and murdered? Or just murdered.? It wasn't that great a movie to start with. But the ending made the whole movie a disappointment.

Ugh don't bother wasting your time. I don't think people know how to write interesting endings anymore, as I haven't seen many in horror movies in the past decade with decent endings. Don't watch this hoping that something will happen or a major twist will occur, because it doesn't. Boring movie from start to finish.

This wasn't the worst movie I've ever seen but it wasn't the best either. If you don't mind repetitiveness and shaky camera flips and views, you might like this one. After watching the trailer, I thought it looked like a very interesting movie with promise. Even more so when the lead is Ashley Benson (Pretty Little Liars) who is accompanied by Matt McGorry (How To Get Away With Murder). Both are talented but you don't really get to see that in this movie.
The premise was interesting, it was something that a lot of people might be terrified for. Because of that, I really thought that this movie could be good. I hoped it wasn't all the flipping views with shaky bits and awkward pauses like in the trailer but sadly, it was. That took away from the story a bit for me. While it was needed for certain parts, I wish it wasn't like that for the entire movie.
Despite how much promise this looked like it had, I feel it fell kind of short for several reasons.
- Lack of backstory. We really knew nothing about Emma Taylor (Benson) and what had gone on in her past. We knew she had parents and an angry ex, that was pretty much it.
- No Character Development. This ties into the above, when you don't have a backstory, you can't develop characters as easily. Even with good actors and actresses, there is only so much you can do.
- Boring. Yeah, I said it, parts of this movie were boring. How many times do you want to watch someone shave part of their leg and play the same game in an hours time?
The only reason I am giving this two stars is the concept was there, it just needed more substance and time. It was rather short and I feel that really hurt this particular film.

This movie was great! I love any movie that is documentary style and this one is similar as the 'filming' is from any device with a webcam/camera like her phone, laptop, tv, etc. It was suspenseful and had a great plot. One of those scary movies that makes you think what if that happened for real?! If you're looking for a good scare and enjoy this style of movie you will enjoy this movie. If you are one of those annoying film critics that picks apart every single movie and never has anything nice to say, then you probably won't like it! I'm pretty sure when I went to pick this movie it only had 2 stars. It should have 4-5 for most people who enjoy scary movies. . it's good!

This is a movie for those who enjoy watching YouTube DITL videos. It does follow her everyday life, and some might find that boring. I found it completely relatable. I think that made this movie so much more creepy. It's something that can happen and most likely happens everyday. This was not scary in a horror manner but was mildly creepy. It definitely ended unexpectedly which added to the creepy factor.

Great movie. I'm definitely a fan of found footage. This one really had me thinking about how someone could use technology against another. A little slow in the beginning, but definitely makes up for it in the end. Definitely worth the price!

This film could have been so much better in my opinion. The story line was a good idea, the beautiful & talented Ashley Benson played her part really well as the cyber stalked victim. But for me it relied to much on the use of the camera shots being all done on the phone & laptop. For me personally it made it very disjointed & annoying to watch from so many various angles. Plus the film never came to a satisfying conclusion, left it in the air.
