About Raven J. Demers
Raven J. Demers lives in a forest outside of Seattle with xyr family, cats, and rabbits. While xyr work spans multiple genres, xe prefers twisting myths, speculating about the future, and exploring the human condition. Raven earned a degree in Anthropology at the UW, and teaches literature and writing to homeschooling teens. Xe enjoys performing, cooks a mean burger, and thinks ducks might be the solution to xyr farming obsession.

Aranya, the third collection of poetry by Raven J. Demers, takes you on a journey through the forests of the world to speak with a multitude of trees and learn the lessons they offer. This evocative volume of work also includes three short stories and over forty coloring pages from or inspired by classic and ancient works. The pieces within this collection celebrate renewal and honor heartbreak.
