Pieces printed incorrectly

The pieces aren't printed correctly and the map doesn't line up. It has many white lines on about half the globe. I love the plastic high quality pieces and it was easy to put together with numbers on the back of each piece. I'm really disappointed with the printing. We planned on using this for our homeschool. If it was printed correctly this would get 5 stars.

We were incredibly disappointed to discover that this puzzle arrived missing a piece. What's worse is we have received no response at all from Ravensburger, not even an acknowledgment of our concern. Ravensburger had been our go-to brand for puzzles up to this point, but we will consider other options from now on.

Great Puzzle, Smaller than expected and Writing Too Small......requires a magnifying glass

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for a little one but when upon its completion, I realized a magnifying glass was needed to read most of it.

Pros : Great educational toy to teach geography
The puzzle pieces are solid plastic not cardboard so pretty durable
Each piece is numbered to putting it together was fun for the little ones who were able to get it done much quicker than the traditional ones without the numbers

Cons : The globe is smaller than expected and the writing is TOO small. This is a major issue since once its completed, you should be able to spin and read the places around the globe, but instead you will need a magnifying glass since not many of the kids were able to see the letters well enough to read it. Even grandpa with this magnifying reading glasses struggled a bit.

My suggestion is to include a magnifying glasses to just make the globe a but larger with larger writing and then this would be the perfect item.

The geek/nerd in me can’t begin to describe how much I looked forward to this coming in the mail and being able to do this with my kids. We LOVE puzzles and globes so there was no way I was passing this up. I thought it would have been hard for them to do and expected us to work on it over the weekend however the inside is numbered so you are just finding and following the number pattern. My seven year old ended up working on it on his own while I worked. I had him sort the pieces in groups of 30 (1-30, 30-60, etc). And it took him about 2 hours to do this start to finish. Granted he was up and down in between but he loved it! We both loved that he didn’t have to break it down but is now able to have it on his desk in his room

I ended up buying two more. One for my neighbor who is turning 7 soon and one for my nephew who won't be able to use it for many years since he’s only a few months old but I didn’t want to risk not being able to find it then.

The pieces are a hard plastic and so far this has not fallen apart. Well made and durable I highly recommend this for the globe lover in your life

I got this for my 8-yr-old son. He loves puzzles, so I thought this would be a nice challenge for him. I didn't realize the pieces would be numbered on the back, so that took a large chunk of difficulty out of it, but he was happy with putting it together and I love that he can sit the finished globe on his shelf. It does come with the stand (although the stand doesn't feel at all sturdy). Overall, I would recommend it for children about his age...much older and I don't think it is difficult enough to be a fun challenge.

Interesting idea and enjoyable to assemble, but not much value in keeping around as a teaching or reference tool. The globe is small and the place names are accordingly tiny. The legibility of the place names is much further compromised by the smeared, indistinct type. Not one of the company's better efforts. The stand is flimsy, stability is poor, and there is absolutely no precision in the typeface.

Lovely toy/puzzle. The pieces do somehow click and stay in place. Definitely need to be able to count into the 100s, and have moderate fine motor skills, but other than that very straightforward (arrow on the pieces tell you where to put the next piece). When complete, it's a nice decoration or geography aid with lots of illustrations. My son (6 y.o.) keeps taking it apart and redoing it instead.

I bought this for my 8 year old daughter as she love’s a puzzle. She enjoyed putting it together as did her dad who had to be told to stand down every now and again.
Of course once it is put together we looked at it to see where countries were, it’s still standing now and when she asks where a country we refer back to the globe.
It comes in lots of numbered pieces which go in sequence, so first she was tasked with finding the puzzle pieces and separating them into piles of all the 10’s / 20’s etc and then it goes up quite quickly and it is pretty sturdy after building.

Simply brilliant. My 7 year old son absolutely loved this present - his first jigsaw with over 100 pieces. It’s made out of a robust plastic, that withstands children building, breaking up, building the jigsaw over & over. He likes the fact it’s 3d and that he can place it on the stand & spin it like a ‘proper’ globe. What I hadn’t realised is that the pieces are numbered, which is definitely what makes it accessible at this age. He orders the pieces then works out how they slot together. We think this is so good, we will buy again for a friend’s 8th birthday present.

Absolutely brilliant puzzle so much easier to build than expected as the pieces are all numbered, good strong plastic pieces too. My 8 year old needed help as if you push too hard there is a danger you break all your hard work. But once built really sturdy.

Puzzle is nice when completed. My 6 year old got it for her birthday and was able to assemble it with a bit of help at first. However saying that like others I was also missing a piece and unfortunately it was the number 2 piece. Thankfully it's under the stand so not noticeable. I had contacted amazon however they had none left in stick which would of meant sending it back for a full refund. Due to the placement of the piece my daughter wanted to just keep it that's how much she likes it. Ravensburger are unable to supply puzzle pieces so I accepted a partial refund from amazon. All in all a nice 3d puzzle that most kids should be sure to enjoy.
