Elizabeth is a half wolf but she is pretty unique, this is due to her mother being a wolf shifter and her father being human. She has lived in the city for as long as she can remember, but due to her being a wolf she is unable to shift into wolf form unless she goes away for the weekend with her family. So when the chance for her to be able to be more free for her to be her wolf arrives, she would much rather stay in the city and live with her best friend Tori. Unfortunately for her, her parents have already gotten things organised and arrangements have been made, but when she arrives in the place where she will be with a pack of wolves her life changes for the good, however she doesn’t realise this until being there for a few hours. She is two weeks away from turning 18 and her mother is already talking about finding the right mate, but in Elizabeth’s eye’s she couldn’t care less, but she ends up getting the shock of her life within 48 hours of being there. Now I would go into more but honestly it’s more fun if you give it a try for yourself.
At times the time line was off, but again the plot and characters are so solid that I almost missed the little things. It didn't take too much away from the story.
There was very little drama. One little thing and it was resolved right away. It didn't make a huge impact on the story, but it was good to see come conflict.
The alternating 1st POV was great. It let us into the characters heads and helps me connect more with them then if it was 3rd point of view.
The three main characters were great. The men Caleb and Samuel were super sweet and reliable. I loved how they were with Elizabeth. She was strong and took everything in strides and didn't let much bother her.
Overall, even with the few flaws that this book had, I can see the authors potential. I am interested in seeing Tori and Ryan's story and Kelly's. I hope we get them soon. 4 stars #2OCCJD
The main criticism in have is that it was too busy in places, things were over explained, unimportant things which could distract from the important bits. I did keep waiting for a bit more action as usually involves a shifter books but it was more a ménage trios romance story.
This is a great start to what I think will be a great series. I can't wait to read the next book, hopefully read Kelly's story and find out why her mate rejected her.

This is the first book in the White Timber series and i can't wait to read the rest of the series. Elizabeth a young wolf human mix is such a strong young woman who seems way ahead of her years. Her mates Samuel who is a vampire and Caleb the next in line alpha wolf are older and more experienced than Elizabeth is but is so lost on her you really get caught up in the interaction between them. I loved the soul mate bond the way you see the love and get to feel the protectiveness of the mates for each other. The supporting characters in this book are really awesome and i can't wait to see what this author does with them. This book will capture you and leave you craving the next book in the series.
