Finally some real hip hop, not that garbage that's getting played on the radio daily. Support a good artist and purchase this, you wont be disappointed if you are a fan of hip hop.

It takes some serious.....fortitude to bypass conventional methods of music promotion and release direct to the public. I got this as a digital download via Amazon's great DRM free MP3 system. I can say honestly I would have paid full price for this album. It reminds me a lot of Eminem's early works as it is very violent, angry, and clearly coming from a darker place. Hopsin lays his heart out line, but quickly reacts as any real person would given what he went through with angry out rage. It is raw to have an album that is sensored not for the strong language, but certain names to avoid legal complications. This album is most definately RAW and a great place to start with Hopsin. Top notch from 1 to 16. I have bought this twice and wouldn't hesitate buying it again. I haven't bought a CD this good since Killer Mike: Pledge Allegiance to the Grind II. Fantastic album. Can't wait to hear what Hopsin comes up with nex.

I can hear a lot of various influences bleeding through Hopsin's style that culminate into his own creative & innovative presentation. I think he can be closely compared to Eminem, but you can buy the album and decide for yourself.

by far Raw is hopsin's best album, followed by Knock Madness. Just listen to them. he is one of the few rappers, or even musicians for that matter, who can release a cd that you can listen straight through, without skipping a single track. you won't be disappointed. so underrated....

Yeah, this album is dope for true fans who hate the garbage on the radio and it's for those who remember what hip-hop was all about. He makes his own beats, directs his own videos, and records. He's talented as can be and is often thought provoking with an amazing delivery and good word play. A Must Have!

Another amazing album by another amazing artist. I say amazing because that's what he is. About 85% or rappers these days are "great". Great is the equivalent of "Okay". Buy this CD and Gazing at the Moonlight, and Knock Madness, you will not be disappointed. I don't even know why he has been slept on so long. SMDH

Other than appearances from his fellow Funk Volume artist, SwizZz, this a great album with not many flaws.
The lyrics are nice and it's clear he's speaking from past experiences in a lot of his tracks.
He's one of those rappers who isn't afraid to let people know what's on his mind and I like that.
I expect a lot from Hopsin in the future and this album from 2010 shows so much promise for his future in Hip-Hop.
However, I expect Hopsin's lyrics and message to change after hearing his track "Ill Mind of Hopsin 5".
In "Ill Mind of Hopsin 5" Hopsin is "embarrassed, and ashamed that...[he]...played a part in this devilish game making your common sense perish" as to suggest he'll be writing about more important things in life.
I can't wait until Hopsin decides to release a new album, but until then I'll be listening to Raw by Hopsin.
