I ordered these in the black and gold. Perfect and classic. Don't forget, these are the over-sized pair.
They visually fit the width of my face perfectly. All other aviator sunglasses were always too small for my face. These are the only ones I ever owned that did not look small on me. I did have to adjust the earpieces because they were slightly too long. The nose adjustment is a little tricky because you have to get it just right so the glasses do not feel heavy on your nose. I found that adjusting them so that they feel a bit wide and so that the bottoms of the soft nosepieces were bent more outwards worked best for me. The glasses do not feel heavy on my nose. I did notice that the bottom of the frames touch my cheeks slightly but that's fine with me and the glasses don't look like they are low on my face at all.
The G-15 lenses really do a fantastic job of filtering light too. They even make direct sun glare from the setting sun tolerable. I've worn them on partly cloudy days and they feel just as comfortable to my eyes in cloudy conditions as they do in bright sunlight. With my other sunglasses, my eyes would quickly feel tired in cloudy weather.
The Ray-Ban 3026 (oversized) Aviators have a perfect temple length, they're well-made, plus they come complete with a nice case and cleaning equipment. Remember, this model is oversized, so make sure that's what you want before purchasing them. Plus, go to the Ray-Ban page first so you can see all the different styles and options. There are many, I assure you.
Thanks to some very informative reviews of other buyers I was able to learn enough about the size of the lens and how they would fit to order just the right pair. Being from Michigan but living in FL. part time caring for sick family, I do wish they had come with a black lens, as in this part of the country the sun seems so much brighter and you really need the darkest lens.
I am very pleased with my purchase.
So now I discovered that I could order glasses with a selection of arm lengths to choose from. Having figured out which was the longest arm length I was sure at last I've have a pair of sunglasses that would fit. However, the length was absolutely no different than any other pair I've ever had. So why all the complicated sizing charts if in the end they just reach in a bin and pull out the style ordered with no differentiation of size?
The classic Ray Ban Aviator looks great, as usual, but also as usual I have to avoid looking down if I don't want them to slip off after I'm forced to straighten the curve at the end of both arms.
